Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Z NEEDS YOU!-Not rly:P This is NOT the same game that was released on DOS and Win 95 back in the day. * The controls are changed (for the worst). * The general gameplay has ever so slightly changed. * The game is significantly easier than it was. * The AI in general seems dumbed down a lot. * The interface has been changed for the worst.

The classic Z was a great game. This version, not so much. The increased resolution is nice and it does have some nice features like buttons to split groups and to select certain types of units or buildings, but also drawbacks like the minimap covering the bottom right of the screen leading to no way to scroll so that you can see or target something in the very bottom right of the map. There are also weird UX choices such as mouse wheel not working on scrollable menus or text, ESC key not backing out of menus but being equivalent to clicking quit mission or even quit game and then confirming exit prompts instead of the sane thing of backing out of them. Alt-tabbing away and back sometimes causes it to spaz out too, so the devs failed even basic full-screen window app tutorial. The unit AI is somehow worse than the DOS original too. Units are bumping up against obstacles and getting stuck instead of blowing them up even when they have the weapons for it, refuse to enter APCs or get stuck running around infront of enemies instead of firing at them. And the difficulty settings seem to affect unit hitpoints or hit chance instead of just tactics, not how I remember the original. They've also messed up some of the maps, like some bridges that should start broken don't and such. The worst part tho is it does not have the Z95 expansion missions, or a mission editor, or any of the things the devs initially promised with the game. That broken promise is enough reason for me to say "DONT BUY", instead download the original Z95 with the modern windows patch, or the community Zod Engine remake. The original classic's devs deserved your money, and their modern heirs could've earned it too if they stuck to their word, but sadly it turned out they're just IP squatters that want money for nothing.
The game that started it all for me. My dad bought this game for me about 30 years ago, and it was one of the first PC games I can remember playing. Pure nostalgia. Thanks dad. You are the best!
Roboty mają charakter, komentują wydarzenia i tworzą specyficzny klimat, dzięki któremu Z trudno pomylić z jakimkolwiek innym RTS-em z tamtych lat. Oczywiście wiek gry jest widoczny – sterowanie, interfejs i AI bywają archaiczne. Sama mechanika jednak nadal potrafi zapewnić sporo satysfakcji. Oldschoolowy, szybki i wyjątkowo charakterystyczny RTS. Klasyk. Polecam.
Download the ZOD engine instead. this is the worst version of the game.
I remember seeing this game's big box version at a relative when I was a kid but I never got to play it. I always thought that robot looked cool on the cover. I bought it recently and my god I'm having a blast with this one. I wish I got to play this much sooner.
Z нуждается в тебе!
As usual, the gameplay is tight and i almost had a heart attack.
