Super fun to play! The game makes fun of typical stereotypes and has lots of references from different franchises! Mechanics are easy to learn and master so the game is easy to enjoy. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a goofy roguelike.

Good beat 'em up game where you fight aliens as a YouTuber. If you're a fan of the genre, you'll enjoy the fast-paced action, challenging gameplay, and quirky humor. The game also features roguelike elements, such as randomly generated levels and items, which adds to the gameplay.

This game has more storyline than any beatemup I've ever played. It's very silly, but fun to read, and definitely unexpected. The humor continues into the gameplay, for instance there's a girl who wants to take your photo and blocks all your frontal attacks with her oversized iphone that's as tall as she is. The actual game play is beat em up with rougelite elements. I enjoyed being able to choose my powerups, which definitely injected a little thought into the button smashing. I think you are meant to actually time your attacks and make "real" combos, but tapping real fast seems to work decently too. I discovered about an hour in that there is a full tutorial in the menus that I probably should have read first, but with the large amount of dialog at the start I was itching to start playing. Overall it's pretty fun. So far each level has had new enemies with different attack patterns and each ends with a unique boss. It seems like there's a decent amount of variety and depth in store. And yes, there's more story too (mostly, it seems, it advances when you die?!)

It was a perfect, engaging game, nice to spend some time with.
