Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game made me an alcoholic
I love YTTD. Its mechanics and story are very interesting, and the cast is very dynamic and everyone is relevant to the plot. However, I wish it was finished by now. It's a very good game, so if you're thinking about getting it, you should, but perhaps wait for it to be finished first if you don't want to be waiting with the rest of us

this has been my personal favorite visual novel since 2020. so much is foreshadowed and there's so many little details to pick up on, and it's so easy to replay because very rarely will each replay be the same. all the characters are well thought-out, have their own flaws, and it's so easy to form a bond with them. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Your Turn to Die is a game that over the years I've heard about and had always heard nothing but praise for, so this summer when I saw it on sale during the Steam summer sale I decided to pick it up, and man I sure am glad I did. I'm pretty well versed with visual novels like this as I am an Ace Attorney and Danganronpa fan, I also recently played the Zero Escape trilogy. That said, Your Turn to Die surpasses all of them, in my opinion. If I could describe this game in one word, it would be evil. This game will more than happily give you hope only to rip your heart out right after, but that's what makes it so good. Yes this game isn't finished (which in all honesty, I can understand why Chapter 3 part 2 is taking so long, what the creator is doing with this game is crazy, so I totally get it), however, what is here is well worth the price of admission here. It has been a long time since I have been so completely sucked in by a game, like for a good while this game just filled me with constant dread (in a good way, like the exciting kind of way). Playing this game was a thrilling and chilling experience, and it's combined with one of the best casts I've seen in a game like this. At the worst I'm just neutral on a character or two and I like or love the rest, which makes what happens to everyone all the more heartbreaking. The gameplay is pretty interesting, it can definitely feel a little all over the place with minigames constantly being introduced and dropped, but honestly it's a pretty minor issue as the core discussion gameplay is quite unique. It's like Ace Attorney cross examinations mixed with Danganronpa minigames. Obviously this game does it's own thing and stands on its own. I also like the variety as each chapter builds on this in unique and innovative ways that I would've never thought of. Outside of the discussions its a pretty standard visual novel though, but it does have some fun puzzles. Overall I'd give Your Turn to Die a glowing recommendation, especially if you are a Danganronpa fan. Even if you aren't a fan of games like this, I'd definitely consider giving it a try though.
this game is something special, whether you like danganronpa lieks or hate them, play this game. i have played dananronpa 1 and 2 and some of 3 and despair girls, this game is superior to all of them except 1 (but i have nostalgia bias so who cares). this game is like heroin, ever since i started playing it i have been unable to put it down, it is simply so tuff. lemme explain why its so good. pros: -the art is just fantastic, for every single scene and background it felt seamless and perfect -music: i was gonna turn the music off at first, but it really grew on me, and it adds so much overall to the game and impact of certain scenes -characters: all peak. every single one does not feel annoying or gimmicky, and they all seem realistic and nice. there is no ultimates, but rather characters are shaped based on personality and rationality. if you have ever played any danganronpa game, you know there are annoying characters in every game (miu, hiyoko, toko, angie). yttd has literally no annoying characters, it makes the majority vote portion of the game so much more difficult than it should be -story: literally play the game its simple but perfect. sometimes things can get confusing but they were never too hard for me to figure out. cons: -you have to save a ton, or else you can and will lose all your progress very easily -the last chapter of the game has been in slow developement for 2 years, it has been delayed signicantly but it is still being worked on. overall, get the game, on or off sale, and give it 1.9 hours. if you hate it i doubt anything will change so refund it, but if you love it (most likely), you will get addicted, like i did. 10/10 one of my favorite games of all time.
If you like Uchikoshi games (ex: Zero Escape and AI Sominum) as well as the Danganronpa series, you'll love this game. It wears its inspirations on its sleeve but is more than just the sum of its parts. Great stakes, great setting, and great characters. Your choices actually unlock different routes too, which is refreshing even if the differences aren't always staggering. Also has quite a long playtime so you certainly get your money's worth. For visuals, the Pixel graphics had me skeptical at first but grew on me very fast, it adds a lot of unique charm. The character portraits look very good as well and only improve with each chapter. My only two negatives for the game is that many of the puzzles during exploration are very straightforward and easy, while select sections of the "trial" style parts are a bit overt and the solutions are a bit of a stretch without giving you much of a hint. Though these are few and 90% can be figured out without too much trouble if you really think hard about it. Just keep in mind as of writing this review, the final chapter isn't out yet. So you may want to wait to have the complete story.
