I absolutely love YOMI Hustle. It’s a really fun game and there’s so much you can do with it. The gameplay is really enjoyable, especially when you start learning how all the different moves work and how to fight properly. I really like how much freedom the game gives you during a fight. You can try different attacks, combos and strategies, and it feels really satisfying when you pull off something that actually works. It can also be pretty funny when a plan goes completely wrong and you somehow end up making the situation even worse. One of my favourite things about the game is all the mods. There are so many different characters, maps, effects and other things you can add, which gives the game way more content and makes it much more fun. You can keep finding new things to try, so it doesn’t get boring very easily. Some mods can completely change how you play the game, while others are just fun to mess around with. There is so much variety that you can spend a ridiculous amount of time just looking through mods instead of actually playing the game. The graphics are also really good. They have a simple style, but they fit the game really well and make the fights look really cool, especially when you pull off a big combo or attack. I like how the game doesn’t need extremely detailed graphics to look good. The animations and effects make everything feel satisfying, and the simple style also makes it easy to see what is happening during a fight. It has a really unique look that works perfectly for the type of game it is. The optimisation is pretty good too. The game runs well most of the time, even with mods, but I do think the optimisation could be improved more. Some things can get a bit laggy depending on what you’re using, especially when there are a lot of effects or other things happening at once. Most of the time it runs fine, but better optimisation would make the game even better and make larger or more complicated mods run more smoothly. Nobody wants their perfectly planned attack to be interrupted because the game decided it needed a small break. The only thing I would say is that the gameplay can take a really long time to finish, especially when you're having a long fight with another player or character. Sometimes a match can go on for ages, but at the same time, that can make the fights more interesting because you have more time to plan your moves and make a comeback. It can definitely feel like you've been fighting for an entire afternoon when the match gets really long, but the longer fights can also be some of the most fun because there is more time for things to change. One moment you can think you're winning, and a few turns later you're desperately trying to figure out what just happened. There’s also a lot of replayability because every fight can go differently. You can experiment with different characters, moves and mods and just mess around to see what happens. It’s one of those games where you can play for a long time without feeling like you’ve seen everything. Even after playing for a while, there are still new combinations and things to try, especially because of the huge amount of mods available. You can also go back to older characters and realise you somehow forgot how to use them properly. Overall, I think YOMI Hustle is definitely worth the money. It’s fun, has a lot of content, has a huge amount of mods, and gives you plenty of reasons to keep playing. I would definitely recommend it if you like fighting games or just want something that you can keep coming back to and experimenting with. Even though the optimisation could be better and some fights can take a really long time, I still think the good parts of the game easily make up for it. It’s a game I can see myself continuing to play for a long time, especially with how much extra content the mods provide.
