Your Love Story 被你忘记的那个夏天

故事超短, 難怪這麼便宜。只玩了一會兒就跳了4/9個成就。 朋友敍舊想當年… 對我來說很無聊。

This is a short Visual Novel where you learn that love alone is not enough to make a relationship work, you need to talk, listen and understand each other too. There are choices but only one ending. The art and music are wonderful, the presentation is excellent. I don't think I have seen transitions between scenes be this well executed in a Visual Novel before. The story is interesting but rather open-ended. You kind of have to make up your own conclusion to everything. There is only one major drawback to this: the English translation. I found it confusing that the names of the characters weren't Chinese while the places described were. (I assume that was done for localisation purposes.) While this is not the worst translation I have ever seen, the wording is often awkward and sometimes a sentence doesn't make sense. However I am grateful this even got translated. I definitely recommend this short experience if you can overlook the translation quality or can read Chinese well enough.

The art is pretty, although there is not much of it. The story is .. there. I'm not sure of how much of it is due to a cultural differences, but it did not connect with me. The protagonist felt to me like an ass, but from what I know, asian cultures feel different about the main aspects of him. And the ending is a mess, it could end the same way without using an awkward anime trope, usually used for laughs, in a dramatic moment. There's also some jokes thrown into the mix, that are completely lost in translation. The jokes are probably not the only thing lost, as the translation is very rough. It's one of those things that need a "Neutral" review. As it is not horrible, but it's not great either.

写在前面：剧情短（但就这个价位的剧情体量，个人而言还能接受），无cv 画风和美工是真的好评！ 至于剧情，蛮无奈的；失去了才想起珍贵（加班和公司内斗是原罪了属于是）..... 信任这个东西确实是消耗品，不得不承认媛媛是会“见缝插针”的，；纵使双方都付出了，也许不想分开，但信任的消磨和持续的猜疑注定分开；什么都懂，只可惜没有如果............. 最后的吐槽：调休和加班是真的难绷，上班以后我是深刻体会了；本来休息的周末莫名其妙的调休，正常的节假日放假都成了奢望（至少目前我接到的通知是这样的，指五一假期）。 别说已经恋爱中的双方了；我想去恋爱但没时间，麻了（连和摩友骑车时间都没了，人家有空我没空）....

被畫風吸引買的 畫面的表現手法 轉場景視角 畫面上是挺好看 但整個故事真的是 一直看一直氣 一氣綠茶女 二氣不分手留著過年嗎 三個月前就該分手了!!! 掛電話的男朋友留著干嘛 就該變成前男友啊! 說什麼為了我們的未來奮鬥 未來並沒有我「們」好嗎 還沒奮完就該失去「我」了!實在太想吐槽了 整篇下來我就想扠死這個男的 然後給那女的兩巴掌 會不會好好說話!
