You Must Become A Lich

I guess I should start with, it's worth getting but there are alot of cons. I want to also note, that I played through it on my Steam Deck, with only 1 level where I thought it might crash (river). So it is deck compatible. This is more of an idle game than an action game, if you set it you can go and do something else for a few hours come back and be OP for the less advertised (and feels unfinished) part of the game. The game is two parts, the coin pusher part, and an in between level that you will use winnings from the coin pusher to conquer. The coin pusher is a coin pusher, there are different coin pusher games with what I would consider 3 different versions of the game. The first one is what you see at an arcade, with 3 variants, the second type is called the river and has some interesting physics to carry items to the bottom, and the third is the farm, which you basically plant coins to get a bonus. I feel that every stage past 1 could do with these variant levels, as they do have some fun mechanics. The fight part of the game, well they are just there. I don't have much to say about them. I would say it's the biggest indication that the game is "technically" not pre-release, but in name only. The game itself doesn't describe anything, and does not have a story. Basically, if you don't know why you should put a bunch of coins in a chest, well there really isn't an in-game explanation. Like I said earlier, the game has no story, but it really should at least have something. I'm not asking for a text wall, or a bunch of forced "quirky" dialogue, but something to do the minimum to carry the gameplay would be appreciated. The final part is the price, this is not enough for full, at the time of writing. I played version 1.10, and the dev seems to be adding to it all the time, so it could easily change in several weeks, but I have near 100% the game and without anything to push forward I will wait for game updates. I'd say purchase on sale, it's a fun game from a small dev, but go in informed.

I got this on sale for about 5 usd. It was great for that price. Fun, super addictive coin pusher sections with a few different and pretty neat ones and I really like the idea of incorporating those into a little rogue/rpg type thing. I wish it were longer, that it explained any of the mechanics or gameplay elements, and I wish it had maybe an endgame loop. There are some upgrades you can do, that it doesn't actually make clear what they do and there is also a rarity and level system for the monsters you create but you have to sort of trial and error your way through that. By the time I sort of figured that out, I had gotten through all the areas where they do anything and I'm not sure if theres a way to reset the combat elements because the enemies don't seem to respawn so there's nothing left to do. Still a fun way to spend five bucks.

A nice little coin doser type game with the end goal of becoming a lich. Very short game though wish there more levels, Maybe get on sale considering the length of this game.
