No. This game is a hard pass from me. The game is a simple hidden object game, which is what I was assuming it would be and what I knew I was getting myself into. What I did not expect was the story--and it was not good. First, the story came across as just a lot of nonsensical rambling and trying really hard to be "philosophical" and deep. For example, trying to say things like "sign" is the same thing as "mean" (I'm not sure if that portion of the story makes more sense in its original Russian than it does in English); or things like "map means city but she is not city" or something like that. I feel like it was an attempt to grasp the unending feeling of the daily grind (obviously in an office setting or other monotonous job). I'm also not sure if some parts of the game were meant to be a poem/poetic? It was just a bit of a confusing mess to read. For the actual gameplay portion, the hidden object scenes were repeated with some things being changed slightly for story purposes BUT all the objects were in the same exact places. I do not understand why the object list words were scrambled? It's unnecessary and pointless. A couple levels had items that were on the object list but were not actually a clickable object. I am NOT a fan of HO games that include the object in the background for no reason other than confusion for the player. The sounds were all adjustable, thankfully, as the music was incredibly annoying after awhile. There is NO level indication for the current level you're in, and for a game that allows level selection, it seems like a silly thing to forget to add. Now for the bugs. The game randomly crashed once when completing a level but it was still running in the background. The volume for sounds got reset to default but not the music. A few of the levels had the wrong object list for what you had to find (I believe one was either level 4 or 5). There were a few typos/grammar issues in-game, such as "photosx" and "And you follow the sign You tune in to it." Some of the English is also a bit weird, like "We've been so long...why, for a long time, for a lifetime!" It's really confusing, so I'm not sure if it's just a translation issue. So it does need a quick proofread still. Overall, the story is not worth reading and the gameplay is simple and repetitive (literally). It's DEFINITELY not worth it's price tag of $20. Whatsoever. Unless it's at a very heavily discounted price, I would skip this game.
Warning: Asset Flip!
White Paper is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Dnovel/My Way Games/Studio2760 (this guy uses a bunch of different accounts to mislead gamers), took a template from the godawful Cocos2D construction engine, slapped a couple of ultra simple images on it, and dumped the results onto Steam as a cash grab scam. Dnovel/My Way Games/Studio2760 has shown a repeated pattern of ripping off Cocos2D templates and Unity Assets and dumping them on Steam. Don't believe me? Here's some other asset flips from exactly the same template, all shamelessly dumped on Steam as nasty cash grabs:

"Abedot Family Estate: Search For Hidden Objects", copy + pasted from the same template by Dnovel
"Green Diver", copy + pasted from the same template by Dnovel
"Moi Mei: Hidden Objects", copy + pasted from the same template by Dnovel
"Mysterious Island - A Hidden Object Adventure", copy + pasted from the same template by Dnovel
"Something Weird in Space - A Hidden Object Adventure", copy + pasted from the same template by Dnovel
Look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game! Dnovel/My Way Games are known asset flippers who've been trying to scam gamers by years, taking the work from asset stores and actual game developers, putting their own name on it and trying to get your money for the work of others. Here's some examples:

"CubeXL" = Switch The Gravity developed by App Advisory, flipped by My Way Games
"Space Force" = X-Racer developed by Deer Cat, flipped by My Way Games
"Muscle Car Robot" = Muscle Car Robot developed by GameNing, flipped by My Way Games
"The Hunt in the Forest" = Advanced Sniper Starter Kit developed by Hardworker Studio, flipped by My Way Games
"Extreme Racing On Highway" = Highway Racer developed by BoneCracker Games, flipped by My Way Games
"Trivia Night" = Trivia Quiz Game Template developed by Puppeteer, flipped by My Way Games
"Top Burger" = Top Burger Chef developed by KetchAp, flipped by My Way Games
"Mine the Gold" = Gold Miner Century developed by SplayGame Official, flipped by My Way Games
"Miniballist" = Endless Turns developed by SGLib Games, flipped by My Way Games
"Dinosaur Bone Digging" = Dinosaur Bone Digging Games developed by Ardian Kaltara, flipped by My Way Games
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "White Paper" is just a simple Cocos2D template for making an extremely poor quality hidden object game for mobile phones, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips are an insult to both PC gamers and to professional game developers who create genuine, high quality PC games. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have. They make it harder for gamers to find genuine games made by honest developers. To cement the position of this asset flip as nothing but a cash grab, it was dumped onto cheap DailyIndieGame shovelware bundles very shortly after launch. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Dnovel/Studio2760/My Way Games.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear almost immediately after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation.
This game isn't good, do not buy it (Taking in consideration this game is £15). Point and click! But no searching... Just clicking on the same stuff for 20 levels. Achievements are very straightforward, just complete the game.
This is a game in a stylish black and white style with a search for items with achievements.
报玩。 so boring!!!! 没见过如此要剧情没剧情要难度没难度一点不烧脑把我当人型鼠标打点计时器的游戏!!!
Develops attention and empties my wallet, which is already struggling after the summer sale @ Profit?
a fun game to play at your leisure. You have to look for objects in the locations. Lovers of hide-and-seek and similar games will definitely appreciate 😁
You guessed it! I hope my boss isn't as perceptive as you. We analyze the quotes!
not worth the $20 but if ur looking for quick achievements this is the game for that
