YAKUZA KIWAMI 3 is an extreme remake of the action-adventure beat 'em up Yakuza 3 featuring ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu's fight to protect those he loves. DARK TIES is a brand-new game featuring Yoshitaka Mine from Yakuza 3 included as a separate action-packed experience.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Yakuza Dark Ties is amazing, great Yakuza game, but idk why they had to remake 3 to bundle with it... Dark Ties is the only good deal here, this version is only worth your purchase for Dark Ties, if you wanna play Yakuza 3 but not Dark Ties, play the original. This is Yakuza Dark Ties, not Yakuza 3. Dont bother playing the demake... they cut content yet again, this is why demakes in current year suck, remakes used to add content and not remove and resell. Yakuza Dark Ties is the only content worth playing, and the fact that they bundled it with the 3 Demake says a lot about how much they knew people wouldnt buy this mockery. edit: bro they undid mine's death, he landed on bush-chan and survived a 100 kilometer fall... what a bunch of morons wiritng this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ahh story bro, this is why i hate remakes, i originally bought this for dark ties but i still ended up ripped off

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Quite literally the worst game ever made period Still probably gonna finish it tho
Mine.
Compared to the rest of the series this game is abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I think the only game I might say is worse, is the Ishin remake. Mainly because of superpowers, but this probably still takes the cake.
Requires mods to make bearable as this is the most boring, bugged, unfinished game released by rgg, it's honestly surprising how bad it is considering their other games, just stick to the original
THE GOOD (Why you should buy this): Next-Gen Graphics: This is the peak of the Dragon Engine. You can literally see the pores on their faces and the sweat on their skin. It’s the most visually stunning RGG game to date. Dark Ties (Mine Campaign): Being able to play as Yoshitaka Mine is a dream come true. His boxing-style combat is fluid, impactful, and honestly better than the main story’s combat. Seeing his backstory and how he climbed the Tojo ranks is 10/10 content. QoL Improvements: Finally! You can change costumes during the main story (seeing Kiryu in a suit in Okinawa is a vibe). The Coliseum/Arena battles are also more addictive and challenging than ever. The "Haisai Girls" & Dragon Vibe: The side stories and the atmosphere still capture that classic Yakuza heart. THE BAD (Why I’m screaming): The Ending Retcon: I HATE the new ending. It’s messy and feels like a cheap plot twist. SEGA ruined the emotional weight of the original sacrifice for the sake of fan service. Assassin’s Creed Kiryu: The "Ryukyu Style" with the Tinbe and Rochin (shield and spear) is just... why? It kills the Yakuza lore. Kiryu is a brawler, not a Spartan soldier. It feels out of place and ruins the "Dragon of Dojima" identity. Stripped Mechanics: No "Feel the Heat" system, limited Heat Actions, and the removal of equippable weapons and accessories. It feels like a step backward in terms of RPG depth.
bad
Alright remake if you're looking a for a serious game. Unfortunately the remake butchers Yakuza 3's charm by removing 99% of what made the OG game fun. I mean can you do this in the remake? https://youtu.be/xNGRnJ-NFN4?si=hzGqMjfZHZVHRajV
