Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I can only really recommend this if you have never played Yakuza 3 in any capacity and want to see the story first hand and can't get a copy of the original or remastered version, combat is boring, and in a game franchise like Yakuza where the combat is meant to be really fun and over the top, that's a bad sign straight from the get go, there aren't a whole lot of heat attacks and the ones that are there are pretty dull and uninspired, I won't go into details about the ending, but it is worth mentioning that the ending is very different than the original and that creates a plot hole for four, it has all the minigames that you've come to expect from a Yakuza game but is missing a significant number of side quests, overall, a pretty big step down from the previous version of 3
Gonna preface this review by saying that the original Y3 is arguably my favorite Yakuza game. This game, though, hardly delivers on the "Kiwami" experience by serving up a shrunken, chopped-up version of that original game. Y3 Kiwami feels more like one of the recent spin-off games rather than a genuine remake of a mainline game. However, I will say that I do recommend this game. Story and cut content issues aside, this game actually does stand fine on its own if you try not to compare it to original Y3. The visuals are good, although they don't feel as cinematic as previous games, and the story, combat, and side content are fun. If you don't have access to the original Y3, or if you do want to experience what this game has to offer, I'd say to grab it when it's on a decent sale.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 I was originally worried about going into the third entry of the Kiwami version of Yakuza 3 but left pleasantly surprised. For reference I never played the original or the remaster which may be why I enjoyed the game more than most but I am caught up with the story up until this point. Speaking of the story this game’s length is fairly short compared to the rest of the series only taking me a little over 20 hours to complete and that’s including doing a lot of exploration stuff, but luckily it works in the games favor as I felt the previous two Kiwami games’s combat started to get a bit repetitive towards the end. Moving onto combat, this feels the best its been in the real time action format, the flashy heat moves are here as well as a new meter that essentially allows you to go into hyper mode for a few seconds and end with finisher, you also have access to a new style that allows the use of Japanese weapons such as nunchucks, tonfas, etc. The exploration is what you’d expect including all the checklist of things you can do around the map for power and collectables. I do have the to say the side stories are lacking in this game and the ones here are ok to good at best. This game includes tons of collectables such as various music from the series and SEGA’s other games that you can play while exploring and different clothes for Kiryu. Finally I would like to include the game features a good soundtrack and some of the best graphics in series so far. All in all I think this is a solid entry in the series although the story and short and may not be on the same level as some of the series best it is still engaging with all the emotions and silliness you’d expect from Yakuza and the combat is the best it has been in the action format. Dark Ties In short this is essentially a mini version of the base game just from the point of view of the antagonist including all the mini-games and map objectives. The story runs a little over three hours and adds more backstory to Mine, Kanda and Daigo. The story is mostly compelling as Mine try’s to understand genuine bonds versus worth in money as well as humorous moments with Kanda. The gameplay is mostly the same as Kiryu’s, except that Mine has different combos and that all his upgrades are obtained by spending yen. My only complaint is that in the final chapter you are forced to do a lot of the map objectives/side content in order to progress the main story. All in all despite slight padding to a short experience I would consider this a nice bonus to the main game that only enhances the experience.
