⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vampire Survivors, But Santa Hijacked the AUX Cable 🎅🎶🔥 XMAS SURVIVORS starts off with one hell of a kickass soundtrack that immediately makes you forget you were just scrolling Steam for “5 minutes” (lies) 🎧💥. The music goes WAY harder than it has any right to for a Christmas-themed game and instantly sets the tone: festive chaos. If you’ve ever lost track of time playing Vampire Survivors and suddenly looked at the clock like “how is it 3AM?” 😭 congratulations, this game is right up your alley. Same addictive loop gameplay, but now everything is wrapped in Christmas lights, snow, and Christmas flair 🎄❄️. The sound effects are weirdly satisfying 🔊👌. Every hit actually feels good enemies don’t just disappear, they get absolutely erased. The feedback from weapons is so nice that you’ll catch yourself nodding along like, “yeah… that hit was clean.” Gameplay wise, the quality is surprisingly solid when compared to Vampire Survivors 🎮💪. Nothing feels janky, nothing feels cheap, and you’re never fighting the controls only the rapidly increasing swarm of festive nightmares coming for your life 😵‍💫🎁. Visually, it’s not trying to win art awards, but it doesn’t need to. The graphics are clean enough, colorful, and packed with just the right amount of Christmas flair without turning your screen into a Hallmark explosion 🎄✨. Snow? Check. Festive vibes? Check. Screen full of chaos? Double check. This is the kind of game you boot up thinking “I’ll do one run before bed” and suddenly it’s been 45 minutes and you’re deep in the zone questioning your life choices 🤡. Perfect for chilling, and perfect for absolutely dominating while jolly music plays in the background. 🎁 Not a bad pickup at all if you want some festive fun, dopamine hits, and holiday chaos without commitment or stress. 🎅🔥 Recommended , Christmas but make it violent (in a fun way).

Gameplay should be familiar to anyone who has ever played a “survivor” game. The goal is to move your character around while letting the auto-attack take care of everything that comes near. By collecting gems dropped by enemies, you fill up an experience bar that eventually leads to a level-up and perks. Since you’re Santa, there are no additional characters to unlock; the only choice is the starting weapon, and you’ll have to buy the rest after the default pistol. Progress across the four maps is standard, meaning you go through them in order by surviving the required number of minutes. When you grab enough gems, you get to pick one perk from a random selection of three offers. These affect basic stats such as pickup range, critical damage, attack speed, and so on. However, you also have to pay attention to their rarity class, which might entice you to pick something even when it’s not a perk you would usually choose. While normal perks only raise a stat by one level, mythical boosts increase it by five levels. An offer can also include an additional weapon. However, you can only pick two, so you might want to skip something that doesn’t work very well. I recommend focusing on getting baubles, which rotate around you. The reason for this is that enemies love to surround you, and this is often the main cause of dying quickly. There’s no dodge mechanic to escape, so relying on fire rate or movement speed often doesn’t work. To encourage movement, each stage has Christmas trees that periodically spawn gifts. These offer temporary perks, such as an electric circle that kills everything it touches, a faster fire-rate, and a few others. This also includes the vital magnet, which pulls all rewards on the map toward you. Win or lose, you get to spend coins—also dropped by enemies—in the shop. It contains the same perks you find during the game, such as increased damage or bonus experience. Each can only be upgraded a few times, but the improvements aren’t very significant, and the cost increases with each purchase. Unfortunately, while the economy feels reasonable for the first few upgrades, it becomes completely unbalanced later on for some stats. For example, a damage upgrade might cost 4k, but the very next level skyrockets to a ridiculous 133k. Since you’re usually only earning 2–3k per run, pursuing further upgrades quickly turns into a pointless grind. Saving up for the other three weapons is a bad idea because they are worse. Although the most expensive sniper rifle pierces several enemies, it has a very low firing speed. You might find some use for the machine gun, but it loses auto-aim and only fires in the direction you’re moving. The shotgun is the best option, but to make it useful, you need to buy permanent attack-speed upgrades, which costs a lot of money. However, if you’re willing to grind the first map and have a few hours to spare, you can earn quite a lot of money. This is because the stage doesn’t end when you reach the required time; instead, it continues for a few more minutes until dangerous, fast enemies start spawning and kill you instantly. This makes it possible to boost your firing speed so much that your pistol effectively becomes a machine gun, tearing through everything that appears on the screen. Of course, the entire run depends on luck with rare upgrades—if you don’t get a few mythical attack-speed or damage boosts early on, you won’t get very far.

Game had a SURPRISING amount of content for its price and i was very pleased with the vampire survivors mechanics in the game. Having played megabonk, i will say the portals and end stage bosses were missed, but regardless a actual good time. :) 7.5/10

Great and fun survival! Hopefully it will get the recognition it deserves.

This is a fun, little, festive, Vampire Survivors-style video game. The pixel art is good, the game plays well and it provides a decent amount of challenge. The only real issues that I found with the game are that the background music is a little quiet and you do need a bit of patience with the game as the character movement does feel very slow to begin with. But the more you play and the more powerups you get the pace soon picks up. The game does not take long to complete and is pretty fun.
