In jeder davon, muss man 25 farbige Gegner einsammeln. 👑 Weitere Spielbewertungen 👑
Alright. Xeyyex 2: Colour Wars is what I would characterize as a suped-up Pacman style game, with a couple cool twists that really spruce it up. First off, the maps I have played look pretty cool. Each has exits that teleport you through to the other side of the map via that exit, which is familiar if you've played Pacman, which I assume you have. There is a monster generator at the center of the map. So far, so familiar. Where this game serves to stand out is in what types of monsters are generated. There are five potential colors of monster as well as different types of monsters with different speeds. To combat this, you are offered a color generator which randomly spawns around the map where it will stay for a little bit before teleporting to somewhere else on the map. Your goal is to pick a color and then attempt to eat as many monsters of the same color as possible without being eaten by monsters of a color different than your own. You can switch colors as often as you like provided you can get to the color generator, and generally speaking, a good tactic is to whittle down monsters of the most prevalent color, rinse and repeat until you reach the stage's goal of monsters consumed. Once that happens, you unlock the next stage. You have a few lives and can earn more lives while playing, but once you run out of lives, it is game over and you will need to start from the beginning again. This is probably the only thing I don't like about this otherwise exceptional arcade experience. As a rule, with arcade games, when you run out of lives, you have like ten second to insert another quarter/token and continue. I realize this is outside of the devs vision for this game, but it wouldn't suck to maybe offer a game mode that offers "x" amount of continues. I'm a child of the Arcade era having been born in 1972, so perhaps my expectations are a bit different and certainly my reflexes have slowed down over the years anyway, lol. In my opinion, this is a challenging game and is perfectly suited for arcade game fanatics. There is also a co-op mode, which the dev invited me to at least once, although I was indisposed at that time, and so I haven't actually tested this mode out. But yeah, your goal is clear all fifteen stages and rack up the best score possible. I think this game certainly earns its price tag of $1.99, and if you enjoy Arcade style games, this is an easy recommendation. Give it a look for sure. Not a bad pac-man clone
I've purchased every Ferolux Studios game with my own money. The dev saw that I was a big fan of his games and reached out to me with my first key. I love XEYYEX 2, but be aware that all Ferolux games are very challenging. The video above pretty much shows what the game is all about. Controller support works flawlessly. 5/10
Good arcade style maze game, that gets quite tough at the end.
I was given a key by the Dev, whom I don't know and have no affiliation with. They randomly found me through my Steam reviews.
The game is essentially a Pac-Man clone with a color-matching twist, trying to pay homage to classic arcade games. The game's flaws make it feel like a low-effort job: - There's no tutorial, only poorly written instructions at the beginning - Monsters often overlap, hiding each other's color - The safe spot where you change color is bland and small, which can make it difficult to find And: - No settings and accessibility options, meaning you can't rebind keys, adjust the volume, or change settings to suit your needs. Outdated and mild, get old very fast. I believe there are better ways to spend 2 bucks.
XEYYEX 2: Colour Wars is a retro arcade-style game similar to Pac-Man. The main goal is to defeat a specific number of monsters. These monsters come in 4 different colors, and you can only eliminate them if your color matches theirs. Color-changing zones appear on the map, allowing you to switch your color. The game features 15 levels, each becoming progressively more challenging. It supports up to 2 players and is compatible with controllers. The game is okay and can give you nostalgic vibe, with achievements, and during sales, it’s super cheap. Overall, a neutral review. 8/10
