About
Xeodrifter is the story of an interstellar drifter traveling the stars on a simple mission of exploration. We join our nomad as he embarks on the investigation of a small cluster of four planets in the omega sector, after a collision with a rogue asteroid damaged his warp core.
A scan of the neighboring planets revealed a number of energy signatures, which may provide the special material needed to replace the damaged warp core and get back to cruising through the cosmos. However, what began as a routine away-mission to fix his engine quickly spirals into a dangerous game of search, shoot, and survive.
Blast your way through alien landscapes, seek out valuable secrets, and defeat ancient guardians to unlock powers from a legendary supreme culture in this exciting journey of mystery and adventure.
• Classic 2D platforming, shooting, and exploration gameplay.
• Unlock legendary power-ups and gain access to new areas.
• Epic boss encounters that test your skills.
• Collect upgrades to extend your health and equip custom gun enhancements.
• Navigate your ship between neighboring planets.
• Seek out special blocks, hidden pathways, and more to reveal useful secrets.

Fun, little micro metroidvania. Good art style. Fun powers. Combat is a little stiff but otherwise pretty good.
Cute little metroidvania game. Only one thing that was totally not nice: You can mute the sfx, but there are still sfx that are not muted. Remarkable, that the game is from 2014 and it has not been fixed in 10 years. Yeah but the rest of the game is really nice. In the beginning it seemed a little bit difficult, but that was just the first impression. It became very relaxing very soon.
After beating this game here's my review. When I first played the game I had a problem trying to get the game on full screen making the screen not align properly. I played it without full screen and played it like that. In this game, you play a game that's similar to other Metriodvania games. In this game, you go around 4 planets getting upgrades to make it to the end of the game. When you play the game at first you'll have a hard time since you can easily get lost in it not knowing where to go. The game is pretty difficult when you go further. There are power-ups you can get but require different upgrades to get them. There's one for the upgrade of health and guns. There are other guns you can use to fit your play style. The upgrade that does the most damage is the most effective. If you die you have to go back to the last checkpoint or the last place you saved at. This game is pretty short and can be beaten pretty quickly but I don't recommend newcomers to retro games like this to play because of how hard it is. Get it when it's on sale since you can beat it pretty quickly and with a bundle since it's pretty cheap. I give this game an 8 out of 10. Have a good day.
You cannot play this game in fullscreen anymore. No fix I found is working. The game is also running twice as fast as normal, if you have a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60 Hz. It seems the devs are too lazy to fix these issues.
I feel like there's a bug attached to screen refresh, because I've seen that before in something else. The game runs way too fast to actually be playable. A shame, because the music and art are nice.
Painfully short, but a simple intro to metroidvanias for anyone wanting to get into them.
Great game I wish it were Longer.
Divertido. Controles um pouco escorregadios, dificuldade mediana, gráficos simples, mas bonitos, diversão garantida pra quem gosta de Metroid.
