The XCOM: Enemy Unknown - Slingshot Pack is Now Available!
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Xcom is a Turn based Strategy that I enjoyed when I first played on the playstation 3, when I came to Pc all these years later I decided I wanted to play this game again and purchased the entirety of the series because there isn't another game that fits just like this that makes me both unfathomable mad, and empowered with control of the battlefield.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

das Prinzip ist gut, die Trefferrate lachhaft.
très mauvais jeu, bcp trop loin des standard actuels si toutefois il a un jour été dans les standard acceptables. Difficulté artificielle et scriptée, gameplay sans aucun intérêt.
It’s a good game, and maybe within the context of its era it would even be considered a great game. However, I was disappointed that the story was shallow and with a very limited number of plot points. Aliens are attacking, go kick their butts, steal their technology, use it to fight new aliens… It got repetitive by the end. Now, the combat and strategy was well developed which is what really made the game. The different classes and their unique unlockable abilities added a lot of depth, and motivated me to build an unstoppable team. My only complaint about the combat was the multi-leveled maps the cursor would glitch between the levels depending on the camera angle and it was sometimes a struggle to get the soldier to the correct spot. The base management helped to drive the story a bit, introduce extra strategy elements, and give a nice break between missions. Although, it didn’t seem necessary to fully develop the base for balancing the funds between competing priorities was difficult. I was always broke at first then all of a sudden towards the end of the game I had a glut of money when I learned to prioritize satellites. The UFO interceptions didn’t seem as well developed as the rest of the game. Overall: 7/10
Managing your XCOM base right after going through the most stressful mission of your life, where half of your squad died, is just so perfect. Hardest game I've ever played 10/10
To me it has the perfect balance between complexity, casual gameplay, action, planning, style, ressource-management and just plain fun. Coming back to this game at least every 2 years. XCOM2 tho' did not catch me like this. One of my all time favorite games.
an easier experience than the originals but a very good game nevertheless. 10/10 would play again
Amazing, play the base game as a tutorials and then install the long war mod.
