Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is amazing, and it makes me sad that it is not getting the attention it deserves. At first, it seems like just a really solid Metroid-like, which successfully captures the atmosphere of Super Metroid. But the gun customization elevates it into something really special. You can come up with crazy strong weapons with all the modifications. But you can’t just build a strong gun and stick with it to the end because there are obstacles in this game that can nullify certain advantages. For example, I spent most of the game relying on a flamethrower until I hit a water section which made my flamethrower completely useless, and there was a boss with a shield I couldn’t get through with a traditional firing pattern, but one mod allowed me to melt through that boss with ease. Actually, that is the one negative I could say about this game. Build the right gun and you can completely trivialize the boss fights. This is not a problem for me because I love that feeling of being totally overpowered by finding a gun a boss cannot defend against, but I understand this might be an issue for others. That one negative aside, I should also mention that this game includes a full remake of the previous game for free, making it insanely good value, even at full price (which is already at a lower price point than most other Metroidvanias). Give this game a chance if you like Metroidvanias. You won’t regret it.

Such a great game! The level design was great and the abilities were all fun and intuitive. The standout in the game is the customizable weapon feature. Throughout the game you collect modifiers that you can equip to change the way your gun works. Trying to build the best loadout was a ton of fun, and some combinations quickly become extremely overpowered. Because of this, the game is quite easy but I didn't mind. An upgraded version of the devs previous game is included. I havent played that yet, although I did play the original version when it was first released and loved that as well. Would definitely recommend!

Just finished Xanthiom Zero, the free remake of the first game, and it is so good. I love the insane story that is juuuust baaaarely there. I love the gun and the mods. The feel and level design of the game is just spot on, perfect metroid-like. Art-wise, I'm not gonna lie, the game lacks inspiration, you fight a lot of extremely generic monsters, evil fish, evil turtle, evil spiny thing, etc. But I found the whole thing really endearing and just a joy to play. edit: Now I beat Xanthiom 2, which I also loved. It's very much the Super Metroid to Xanthiom Zero's Metroid. Again, the feel and level design are top notch, with cool events and creative boss fights. The story is, uh, there and I'm sure someone out there gets it, but I sure didn't. Luckily the game is very entertaining regardless. Xanthiom 3 when?
This is the closest I've ever come to re-experiencing Super Metroid again. If you like the 2D metroids, get this game.
Fun
Very good. Neat upgrades puzzles.
Man, really fun game. Only have played the Xanthiom 2 part as of right now, but I got 100% in that part, just need to clean up the 80 meter kill and do the all modifier run for it. My 100% play of it took me just under 4 hours, which while on the short side, was still really fun to do. It was especially hilarious when I found an insane combo for the gun that just ended up trivializing any fight that didn't have a gimmick to damage it, but I'll leave that up to anyone who wants to try and find it. Honestly, my biggest complaint for the Xanthiom 2 part of it was one of the puzzles where there are 6 bugs. While the hint is nice, it didn't help me a ton and I ended up having to look it up so I didn't just end up spending forever just trial and erroring the correct answer.
Started off a little slow and I was concerned might be a little basic at first, but opened up into a very nice little MV.
I'm very sad I'm done with it. I started with Xanthiom Zero, which I recommend for the whole story. The Resimulated version sort of puts things in a different perspective, and it's just beautiful. And Part 2 was amazing! I found the controls and the game play to be convenient and fun. And the music? Had to turn it up!
