If you're looking for the most realistic flight simulator, X-Plane 12 is definitely worth it. The flight physics are incredible, and every landing feels rewarding. It has a learning curve, but if you enjoy realism , you'll have an amazing experience. Now, if you're worried about the default scenery you're right. It's one of X-Plane 12's weakest points and falls well behind the competition. they talked about bringing next-generation scenery and many other major upgrades in the future. Like everyone else, I'm waiting for that update too, and nobody knows exactly when it will arrive. After 600+ hours, I can confidently recommend it to anyone who values realistic flight dynamics over flashy visuals. If Laminar delivers on the scenery overhaul, X-Plane 12 could easily become the complete package.
