WYRMHALL: Brush and Banter

Ayant joué à Trash gobelin il y a peu, j'avais peur que wyrmhall n'en soit qu'une variante. Que nenni! Ce jeu à sa propre identité et le ressenti n'est absolument pas similaire! Tout d'abord, l'aventure dure 8 jours, on sait où l'on va, pas de vagabondage ici. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'intrigue, et les personnages. Je viens de terminer une première fois le jeu. Il m'aura fallu 3h, et je compte bien le recommencer. Pourquoi? Car dans Wyrmhall, de nombreux choix et actions ont une importance dans l'histoire (pour débloquer certaines fins) et pour obtenir les succès steam. J'ai passé un très bon moment, pas de répétitions, les objets sont différents les uns des autres, l'ambiance sonore est visuelle est très chill. Je pensais que l'animation était un peu pauvre, mais en fait, chaque personnage à sa propre animation! J'ai apprécié pouvoir recommencer le dernier jour plusieurs fois pour voir toutes les fins que j'ai débloqué lors de cette première partie.

This was an awesome experience. The game is engaging, funny and oozing with style. Honestly a gem. I love every little weird guy that I had a pleasure to interact with during my play. The world is well made for it's scope, I felt really immersed and curious. The controls are smooth, game didn't feel tedious at any point, dialogues are really funny and story was well-presented. I played another, much more popular game about green creature cleaning and fixing trinkets and I definitely felt less emotions and more frustration with the other one. Now thinking about it I like how Wyrmhall doesn't have too much gamey stuff - grind for money, upgrades and all that fluff that becomes tedious after 5 hours or so. I've come to really appreciate that this is a condensed, more story focused experience - because the story and worldbuilding are really great. I want to know more about Wyrmhall and get to know even more little weird guys living in or passing through it. On the other hand I don't - because the mystery is what's really compelling in this concept. I yearn for this approach to fantasy in other games. Please keep making games.
