très bon jeux , aucune comparaison avec des versions antérieurs ,vu que mon 1er jeu WWE était sur Super Nes , attention "The Island" pas dispo sur PC
Wrestling is way more entertaining when the results are not fixed. A lot of customisation options. Awesome sandboxish playground

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Over the last several years a term has come to light, enshitification. This game is one of the many games that have made that term become more and more common. Long gone are the good ol' days of smackdown vs. raw where we would gladly fork over $50 for the new SVR because the new updates and features were worth every penny. I bought this game on sale for around $20 and to be honest I think I paid $20 more than I would have if I had known how bad these games have gotten. It's not a big surprise that this game is more of a cash grab than it is an actual fun experience. Here's a list of complaints: 1. Paywalls...paywalls everywhere. Don't worry though you can fork over even more cash for DLC just in case your preferred character or story line isn't available. The shut up and take my money era is dying thanks to low effort productions like these where you are forced to pay more money to the devs in order to unlock the experience you really want. I'm not totally opposed to DLC if it makes the game better or extends the life of the game if it's reasonably priced of course, however 2k pricing is stupid expensive for one game. 59.99 just for the base game, 129.99 for the bloodline edition, 149.99 for the farewell tour edition and on and on it goes with other bundles. Devs might think this helps the bottom line but I'm simply not buying a digital game at those prices when it will simply be discontinued upon the release of the newer version. 2. Touching on the releases of newer versions, it absolutely floors me that the 2k devs will pull previous releases of a game to try to sell you only the newest version. Seriously that's just slimy! What if I have a previous version and I want to play online with a friend? 2k says that's not gonna happen unless you buy the newest version...no thanks 3. Ok well how about the gameplay itself? Oof, it's hot garbage. Imagine if someone who knew nothing about wrestling programmed the game, made it into what is basically a button mashing or button timing mini game. That's about how it works with grappling and reversals, it's like there's no real creativity into the gameplay itself. The controls are just sloppy and poorly thought out. Some things are ok in terms of simply engaging in the grapple but then there are other things that simply don't make sense or don't seem to work. One example is putting an opponent through the announce table, even in the tutorial (which is ridiculously long). 4. Story mode...or whatever they're calling it now...I played through it once. Boring, predictable and honestly didn't deliver any excitement at all. After finishing the story mode it just felt like that's all there was to do unless I wanted to earn some of their stupid in game currency and unlock more characters. This just makes the game feel grindy like the devs thought we'd get more playtime out of the game by simply working matches to earn points to unlock characters. It's artificially inflating the playtime without actually giving the player anything to really stay involved. 5. Good grief the voiceovers felt like they were recording on friday night at 4:59. "That's gonna have to do boys...it's time to go home". I'm not an expert in audio but I've worked with audio many times and these voiceovers make the cutscenes feel flat and boring. Every line feels rehearsed and basic like you have two AI bots speaking to each other. 6. The chain wrestling mechanic, well...it sucks. It's not fun and doesn't really serve a purpose. In the old days of SVR it was at least somewhat entertaining and held my attention but the modern engine 2k developed is just moving the thumbstick to the right position before your opponent can move their thumbstick to the right position, then trying to reverse. Comparing again to SVR they had a grapple button and a d-pad, and depending on the direction you choose it would effect which move you executed, not exciting but not this bad. Ok so any positives at all? Sure, there are a few. Graphically it's up to par with most games nowadays, and it's very fun to watch the entrances of older characters we haven't seen in a while but there's a ton of names in this game I don't really know so it's become harder and harder to give a damn about the entrances. They did do a pretty good job of making sure the announcers don't repeat the same lines over and over but the realism dies pretty quick when you realize the announce team dialog doesn't exactly follow the hype of a big move like they do in real shows. I love that there are so many classic characters to choose from but again they're put behind a paywall or you have to grind to unlock them. I put almost 20 hours into this game as of the date of writing this review so my final verdict is as follows. Please for the love of everything holy, enough with the paywalls, microtransactions and grindy nonsense! We come here to play our favorite characters stories and to be entertained with possible different outcomes from the story lines put out by WWE in actual shows. WWE 2k25 has taught me one very important lesson and that lesson is; let's just wait until someone else is doing development for WWE before ever buying a game from them again because the devs at 2k missed the mark on this one big time.
