Wrench is a mechanic simulator where players prepare and maintain race cars. The parts in Wrench are the most detailed of any game in the genre. Extreme attention has been paid to even the smallest components, including fasteners which are accurate to the thread pitch and install torque.

very bad game details are amazing but without vr impossible to play can't even create a new game, I can go play only a sandbox not even sure how to unscrew something
very bad optimized for VR, not interactive at all... nothing works properly. Bad game!!
abandoned
An extremely good game, i would love to see future development even if the developer team is tiny
its easier IRL )
Seemingly abandoned after 8 years. Hardly any content. 0/10 Dev blacklisted.
TLDR; Its still in a pre-alpha state. The level of detail they're going for is VERY ambitious. But it just doesnt meet minimum expectations set by similar games. While yeah, having different sockets and extensions is fun, and the concept of having to spend 20 minutes looking for a specific wrench or having to wait for your battery to recharge is hilarous, it still falls quite short of being the ultimate shop simulator. I wish it atleast had a rolling table, maybe it could be added via mod support. That and the intereaction with the vehicle itself is QUITE limited. You cant open and close doors, only remove and install them. Same goes for the hatch and bonnet. The pedals dont do anything, and you cant hold the throttle body open. You can drain the engine of all it's oil and it'll still run like new. Its not as satisfying as one would hope to see how much you can take appart a running engine before it explodes or something. The multiplayer is okay, the VR support is alright. Its good for something to do with friends on a saturday but i cant see myself putting more than 5 hours into the game.
