A nightmarish first person horror puzzle game, about reliving a nightmare. It will keep you on the edge of your seat all game. If you are a fan of horror games then this is a must have for you.
Horror game that forces you to search for keys in the dark. Much of it looks familiar; I've always had the impression that I've played it before. I'm not claiming that it's a knockoff of another game, but there are a lot of similarities. The most evident feature is the identical inventory and health icon used in many other indie horror games. The first few minutes do not try to entice you with something new. You begin the game, as you have many times before, driving on a deserted road at night. Then you crash your car and find yourself close to an opening into a cave that greets you with blazing torches and demon statues. The cave is nothing spectacular, and there may be some intriguing items there, but the darkness obscures most of them. Your lighter isn't useful because it just allows you to see a few steps ahead of you. It also runs out fairly quickly, which can be a problem that prevents you from playing a game. Because essential items do not shine, it is impossible to notice them in the dark without a light source. The game is simply unplayable when you’re alone in the dark. All you can do is reload a previous save and try again. The gameplay is tedious. You're trapped in a maze of identical-looking rooms with closed doors that require a key, which is hidden somewhere in the dark. There are no visible cues to guide you or entice you to investigate a location. And when you uncover something interesting, like a chest, you discover it's only a prop that can't be opened. I understand that this is an unfamiliar place for the protagonists of the game, and I'm not asking for waypoints, but there should be something. After several minutes of searching for a key, I'd had enough. The game's visuals promise more locations and stronger light sources, but few will pay attention when you hit such an obstacle so early in the game. I have no problem with generic games, but at least give me the tools to enjoy it. With the exception of one bug on the main menu, the game works without issues. When you press the resume game button, you are taken to a room that serves as a background in the main menu. It has nothing of interest, and walking over the edge can send you into an infinite fall.
