Man. I really love this game, but I must admit a lot of it comes from nostalgia. Nothing wrong with Reloaded. It has it's own physics and quirks like any other worms game, so it comes down to a matter of preference. That being said, Reloaded can be on the pricier side of the franchise, so you might want to go with another game. What Reloaded does have going for it are DLC campaigns which are surprisingly fun, and gave me the best single player experience of the franchise. TLDR; Get it on discount with all the DLC for the single player experience. If not, I'd only recommend it if you grew up with it, because Armageddon, Clan Wars and WMD are more diverse and fun when played locally.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Is this the best WORMS game: NO Does it run on literally the most trash laptop ever? YES So does it deserve a good rating? YES Worms Reloaded definitely lacks some of the features I appreciate from Worms WMD (e.g. crafting items, the dang keybindings, multiple teams, etc.) but it's easier and so it's worth a shot for the beginner. But I'm used to the modern game(s) and it doesn't scratch the itch I have for total wormageddon.
It got worms in it
game of my childhood, peak worms
Классика в лучшем виде
Worms Reloaded is what I consider to be the first modern 2D Worms game released on PC. It came out back in 2010, after a period of 3D games and other more modern titles released on consoles. In fact, this is actually an extended port of Worms 2: Armageddon, first released in 2009 for the Xbox 360. As such, it has features like a better UI, higher-resolution graphics, cool animations, proper controller support (not so much in the menus, though), and Steam integration, like achievements, leaderboards, and cloud saves. Gameplay is smooth without reinventing the wheel. It’s also more accessible overall. The base game provides a decent amount of content, with plenty of weapons, customization options, and online play. For single-player content, there’s a proper tutorial with three missions and three firing ranges where you can practice with all available weapons. Besides the standard campaign, with 35 missions featuring various conditions and objectives, there’s also Warzone, a second campaign with 31 deathmatch scenarios that get increasingly harder, and it’s a notch up in difficulty compared to the regular campaign. It was DLC in the console version, but here it’s already included. An update also added five community-created missions that I think were part of a contest. Four DLCs are also available, each adding a new campaign alongside other content. Puzzle Pack adds 20 missions with specific conditions, and they feel like puzzles. Forts Pack adds 20 deathmatch scenarios with forts, in which each team is located on an island separated by water. Time Attack Pack adds 20 races using the ninja rope and jetpack, with a leaderboard for each one. And Retro Pack adds a selection of 15 classic Worms Armageddon missions, with a few tweaks. With all DLC, there are around 150 unique single-player missions, which is plenty of content. The vast majority of achievements are locked behind these DLC packs, though. Online is mostly dead as well. Overall, I enjoyed Worms Reloaded and can recommend the Game of the Year Edition on sale, since it includes all DLC and is worth the small extra cost.
5.5/10
Game is trash. Can't even compare to magnificence of the Worms Armageddon.
