World of Warships

After 1500 hours i think its safe to write a review about this game i really like this game and i like strategy games and this one needs it, you cant just take a super ship and fight your way through, it needs tactics ,thinking ,positioning etc. and ofc good team.. i wouldn't say its pay to win but it has some ships you can buy with real money which are OP overall the music the graphics the gameplay all are awesome ,many modes to play from vs to co op and short campaigns and most of all its free! So yes i would definitely recommend it 9,5/10

Wargaming in recent times feels like they hate their players. They constantly release ridiculous over powered ships that you have to pay to play. Valparaiso being one of them. I can't stand that ship in brawls, ranked, or randoms. It walks all over everything and feels like it cant be killed. And not to mention subs and CV's. I wish the devs would listen to their player base more. I'm very very very close to leaving this game which is sad because I really enjoy it as a whole but if they don't start nerfing these over powered ships and fix some more game mechanics like aiming bugs, etc... I think I'm done. And for new people wanting to download this game, I don't recommend at this time tbh. Edit: I've deleted the game because of very extremely poor match making. 5 losses in a row is enough for me, I take top xp in my team every game and its a blowout every time. Randoms almost always end in blowouts and World Of Warships does nothing about it. I HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this game. Along with several issues I won't go into like monetization, etc...

I get a lot of the free games need to add things for profits. I would rather pay a monthly fee or something for better content and game modes. It is an enjoyable game but I hope the devs listen to the players.

Realism: 5/10. Less than half the ships (educated guess) were real, actual ships. Arcade style action, with greatly exaggerated speed/size ratios to allow for more interesting gameplay than open water 20k+ sniping... High tiers start to turn into that anyway. Pay-to-win: 9/10. I don't get this complaint. The free tech tree ships can be unlocked moderately faster with paid time, and sometimes specials are behind pay-walls, but there is no single "I win for $$$" button, or ship. This isn't Diablo Immortal, Battlefront 2 or Dungeon Keeper (or even World of Tanks with gold ammo). It's absolutely possible to play for free or with little investment. Baltimore and Hipper are both free at tier 8, and can battle one another for no monies. Community: 5/10. The game is a decade old, and old men like to ♥♥♥♥♥ about it as much as they like to ♥♥♥♥♥ about their co-workers, taxes and the government. Some folks are very passionate, and mean well while remembering the "good old' days". You can go back (or used to until WG nuked their forums) and find similar complaints year to year, and yet many people still play. The other half of the folks are generally helpful and kind. Actual Gameplay: 8/10. There is nothing else on the market in this niche that has done as well, and it's for a reason. In battle, the game is fun more often than it is not. There are many modes, pvp and pve, suited to different tastes and skill levels. Match balance on average is no worse than in a CoD or Battlefield match.

这游戏海战氛围感确实独一档，舰船模型也精 致，但太硬核了，上手简单，精通很难 新人入坑基本是被虐出来的，开局“见光死”是常态。不充高账的话，打钱真的太慢。联合战又容易抢不到人头，而且现在环境蹲坑严重，航母和潜艇的加入让战局经常一边倒。 爱这口的人能玩上千小时，但要是冲着爽快来，建议慎重。

Contrary to the general sentiment, I still love this game and play it often. The first 80 or so hours are very hard and I almost quit several times. However, once you get past the initial learning curve, the game becomes sooooo much better. This is actually one of the least pay-to-win games I've played. Sure playing some money will help you progress faster, but every single resource can be gained completly for free, unless it's some random event currency. It's a fun way to learn about historical ships, or just play as a ship you've already heard of. There are many issues with the game despite my good opinion of it. The playerbase is often rude to new players and there is lots of whining in the chat. Many games will have bots, AFK players, or lopsided matchmaking. It's widely agreed by WOWS players that the game isn't as good as it used to be. But just because it isn't as good doesn't make it bad. There is still plenty of content, plenty of fun to be had. For being a free game, it has amazing art and lots of things to do. If you aren't a fan of the (sometimes toxic) PvP game modes, just switch to the equally fun PvE modes.

the match making in ths game is border line unplayable. Especially subs and carriers. I'm uninstalling this game. It should not take 1 out of 5-7 matches to have a decent game. One of the few games that I actually enjoyed paying when it first came out.

the game is very bad lately, i used to love this game. always putting me in 1 sided battles where i last 2 mins or to the end and do bugger all. random matches are that bad with matchmaking always putting me into battles where my ship is nothing, tehn change ship to counter and it does the opposite hlding back players who want to have fun. want to make me vomit in my own mouth.
