About
World of Warships: Legends—the renowned console naval shooter, now on PC.
In World of Warships: Legends, fast-paced action blends with tactical depth. Victory is earned through strategic play, smart positioning, and coordinated teamwork. As a Captain, you can choose from more than 600 historically inspired warships, including legendary vessels from WWII like Yamato, USS Laffey, USS Texas, and many more.
The pace of battle is yours to control, with four ship types that play very differently. Destroyers rely on speed and stealth, battleships on armor and firepower, and cruisers on versatility, while aircraft carriers influence the fight from above, directing air squadrons to project power anywhere on the map. With hundreds of warships from multiple nations—including the USA, UK, Japan, Germany, Italy, and the USSR—there’s always a ship to match your playstyle.
Lead your fleet with over 150 historical and fictional Commanders. Each one features a unique skill tree, allowing you to create specialized builds that fit your ship and your playstyle. If you want a different look, use Commander guises with unique visuals and voiceovers. Customize your Commanders and find the perfect combination to win.
We release major content updates almost every month to ensure there is always something new to explore. Discover everything from powerful new ships and Commanders to unique game modes, ranging from casual PvE events to intense PvP battles. Take part in special collaborations with iconic franchises such as Star Trek and Azur Lane, bringing themed ships, Commanders, and cosmetic content into the game. Complete mission chains, progress through the battle pass, and experience epic War Tales—there is always fresh content for every Captain to enjoy.
With cross-progression, you can link your console or mobile account to Steam without losing progress. Team up with friends on PC, console, or mobile and dominate the high seas together. Some account linking rules may apply—check the FAQ in the community discussions for details.
Legends is beginner-friendly, but prepare for a journey with true tactical depth. While the basics are easy to learn, the game offers many levels of strategy for those who want to dive deep. If you have questions, our in-game wiki, video tutorials, and community channels provide all the answers you need. Play exactly how you want with full support for keyboard, gamepad, and handheld devices, including Steam Deck.

Dont listen to bad review let me tell you why. First everyone is comparing this game to WOW Classic which is dumb because they are different games completely. WOW legends is a early pc port of the game to console and it had a seperate devolopment for the past 8 years. Legends was then ported back to pc making making this game so it could be crossplay too. OK... Second, WOW Classic and Legends are both free so you can just play your favorite, legends is fun and the microtransactions can be ignored. If you think its too OP for someone to kill you with a lvl 16 captain, I understand that frustration with the game I have it too, you can play random war tales get around the same xp as standard with no sweaty lobby. I personaly like having a pc port to any game. I recomend low graphics if you have a old or slow pc like me. Runs decent on low graphics but im just kinda more fond of low graphics. It makes that game feel like a video game idk
-The game can be fun but it's heavy over reliance on RNG even compared to regular WoWS is frustrating. The number of times I've shot at someone flat broadside and just purely because RNG favors them they get to get away with it multiple times in a row. Not only is this unfun for me since I don't get the result I should but it will also be unfun for the person I'm shooting at when RNG stops saving them and they start getting dev struck repeatedly because they never had to realize being broadside is bad -Ghost Shells while not a big problem are a direct look at how lazy they are about fixing things in this game. If you shoot an island and it's close enough the shells will sometimes become 'ghost shells' which means they don't exist but you can still see them coming which can cause major issues when you don't know if it's going to do damage so you try to avoid only for someone that CAN do damage to you smacks you. These have been around basically since the game came out and they have yet to do anything about them. -The campaign is nice but the missions just straight suck. You can't do them in whatever order you want and you HAVE to complete previous ones to do more recent ones so if you don't play for a week you're playing hell just to catch up. Plus the missions themselves aren't that great. Some are fine like just getting xp, damage, or ribbons but then you have ones to get 50 fires or incapacitations, capture objectives which would be fine except when you get match after match of a single cap for both teams that you'll never be able to even touch, and then every single week ends with the same stupid challenge of getting top 3 on your team 4 times which is just annoying. The first few times were fine but it's every damn week and you can only get it after you've done every other challenge that week. Now luckily wargaming was 'merciful' and added a second set of challenges you can do in any other mode than standard except those challenges are purposefully made harder and to take longer with the biggest example being the top of the teams challenge going from needing top 3 to top 4 which is nice except you have to do it in 15 battles instead of 4. If you could do like literally every other game in existence and complete the challenges in whatever order you wanted and multiple at a time I'd say it's fine but you can't you have to complete challenge 1 to unluck challenge 2 and so on. -This game is so bad with it's monetization. Every update in recent years you'd need to drop over $150 sometimes up to $300 just to get MOST everything and they use FOMO as much as they can. They'll say a ship will 'come back eventually' which translates to you might see that ship again in 3 years or frankly never like Lenin so you either get the ship when it drops or you may never see it again outside of gambling with crates. I didn't think I'd ever see a game that's worse than the Snail when it comes to monetization. I remember when dropping $150 on this game would be enough to get through multiple updates and not have to worry but those days seem long gone with how greedy wargaming has gotten. It got so bad they added a guarantee system to crates just to add a system called 'random bundles' to the game which is where most ships sit now outside of that guarantee system they implemented with each roll costing as much as a single crate and now you also can't get a discount for bulk buying rolls like you could bulk buy a number of crates cheaper since you can't bulk buy rolls. It's one at a time or all of them and these random bundles have anywhere from 50-100 rolls so if you get unlucky you could be spending upwards of 37,500 doubloons($150) for 50 or 75,000 doubloons($300) for a 100 roll random bundle which is often a single part of an update and doesn't ever include everything but just a few ships that are never worth THAT much. -There events often suck and are repeats. They have a good event maybe once a year if your lucky and the rest either suck or are a repeat from previous years and often still suck. This isn't to say the updates suck as they tend to be petty alright outside of the heavy monetization previously mentioned If you haven't gotten into this game yet I highly recommend just staying away from it and maybe even wargaming as a whole.

It launched into the game one time for me. I tried to sign up using my steam account, the game crashed. I then went to the file and gave it permissions thinking it was a permission issue or something maybe and the application wouldn't launch for me at all after that. It would come up in the taskbar at the bottom of my desktop but no further every time I'd start the game. It's unplayable.

Played this on Xbox for years until my console died. So glad to have it on Steam and not have to lose progress. The account linking was a must have for me. Only complaint I have is that certain ships I acquired on Xbox are not playable here. Not a big deal though since they were low tier reward ships.
yabadaba doooo
game thinks it has dedicated launcher or something...always puts out a incorrect email and password error even though it is launched with steam...not to mention, the game runs borderless fullscreen and does not even have ultrawide support unlike its PC counterpart
为了能在手机上也玩到战舰世界,从PC端转过来的,整体感觉有点像怀旧服一样,除了福利方面不够强,整体还是挺爽的,画质细节操作都比闪击战强
