Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There's good stuff in this game, but it's the same good stuff as there was when I first bought it. It seemed clear that there was much more planned, and after years of silence in early access they just seemed to give up on that. There's been another update hinted at, but I wouldn't hold my breath. To be clear, this is not a quality problem, the game is great, this is more about undelivered promises and unreached goals.
I absolutely adore this game. Great repeatability, wonderful graphics, and writing reminiscent of a short and sweet choose-your-story junji ito adventure- which this absolutely is. Has workshop support too to expand your game! The only con is that this game may feel repetitive if you don't like seeing the same card again and again, but well....this game is styled like a board game. If you don't like boardgames, you really shouldn't be looking at this to begin with. ...I don't really get why people are giving tons of bad reviews claiming this game needs an update- it's an indie game. That's like looking at binding of issac or cave story and being like, "Why isn't this a live service game? Why isn't this guy working for me to give me free updates with their unlimited (spoiler; not unlimited) income?" It isn't early access. They didn't promise much more than what was already given either. They said they'd like to add stuff, but not that they will, or that they must. They're also just a single person. If you want an enjoyable, well crafted and well rounded indie game rougelike, pick this up. If you love horror? Pick this up. If you want an indie version of an EA always-online constantly-updated title....well....go elsewhere. Seriously. Stop harassing the dev in the reviews. If I was them, that kinda behavior would be the perfect reason to give up on the game.

Bro got no time to update for 2 yrs but got time to sell a $240 watch, $230 bag & $170 shirt
I personally love the game, though what others are saying that the Dev abandoned the game holds some truth. It's not an expensive game and is met to be replayed with different outcomes and diverging paths. Though it may be "incomplete" I would still strongly recommend the game as it has so much to offer and still is a solid game even in its current state. Pros: -Beautiful and horrifying pixel graphics -Engaging story that will be different every time -Multiple characters all with different stats -Unique Game play with and old school RPG combat style -Multiple endings with different eldritch gods -Affordable price for good quality Cons: -Developer left the project -Difficulty spikes occur frequently -I want to bang some the monsters (I need therapy) World Of Horror is a game I still highly recommend as is.
The game is good and addictive, but it has been abandoned. It is incomplete and has not been updated for almost 2 years. Unless you find a very good promotion, I do not recommend it.
Dev has abandoned this game, so do not expect any further updates. That said, there's a sufficient amount of content here and there's a healthy modding community if you're looking for more. Vibes and music are immaculate, definitely worth playing if you are a fan of Junji Ito's work
Look, I love this game a lot, its a rogue-like heavily inspired by Junji ito's works. It has a pretty good game play loop in the early game, but more redundant as you play more seeing the same few events. But like a lot of people mentioned, the game is unfinished. The developer even before its "full release" was not great with communicating the development process of this game and "disappearing" leading to a lot of controversy, about a year ago he announced he'd be finishing up the game and adding the promised content but like before went pretty quiet. What has a lot of people upset is for the first time in almost a year was a merch drop. I think the game is quite good and if it interests you you could pick it up on sale, but its not the full experience if that's what you want. Game development is hard and I am not aware of everything behind the scenes, but I think some communication and clarity would quell most of the anger and controversy behind this game. But that's just my thought I'm not all knowing. Very fun game just not finished. Buy it if you want or you could wait until its finished I won't tell you how to spend your money.
i would join my fellas here commenting about the game being abandoned by the dev suddenly without releasing the update promised last year (last post was announcing the update at end of february and never delivered). i have this game +40h in a friend account before i bought it, so here is my honest opinion: the game is interesting for a good chunk of hours while you learn the different stories, try to achieve the different endings and learn the "meta" for each character, they have their own weakness and strengths, but there are unfinished stuff around and you find about it soon or later. gameplay-wise, is a text-based rng roleplay game basically, each "turn" you choose where to go and a random event will happen (hence the rng part). you have encounters too, some of them are pretty hard but most of them are pretty trivial if you know how to build your character. the ending of each run is what i find the most dissapointing aspect of the game, feels like was something rushed for a first version to release the alpha with something bigger in mind that was never developed, feeling anticlimatic when you finish. visual of the game as everyone said and the primary focus is a mix of lovecraft and junji ito, aesthetically i freaking love it and is the biggest selling point imho. the community is good, they have develop some good mods with the tools they have, some great characters, new events, enemies and stories, some quirky stuff too, so there's a little bit for everyone i guess. i can't recommend to buy it "now" because the situation with the dev and the promised last update, BUT is a good game for a few hours and from time to time i check it out hoping for a new update release.
Devs promising an update to the game before disappearing off the face of the earth, only to a year later post about overpriced merch instead of anything about the game should tell you enough about how unserious they are about the game. It's an atrociously ugly move to pull and deeply disrespectful to players. They've shown that they, at this point, clearly only care about getting some money from the IP. Unless they start showing up and caring for their playerbase, do not buy this game, do not support devs who do not care for their players.
游戏是没做完的,更新是要一直拖的 但是要卖周边 对于游戏开发者来说,盈利固然很重要,但玩家的包容与耐心不是无限的,请不要把玩家当成冤大头
