Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are a gray wolf in the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. Now dispersed from your natal pack, you're on your own – to hunt, explore, find a mate and form your own pack to raise up a new family. Can you and your little pack survive the trials of the wild?

Surviving in the wilderness is far from easy! Hone your hunting skills by practicing on animals such as elk, mule deer, and moose. Once you've grasped their differences and know your limits against your selection of prey, seek out another wolf to become your mate and form a pack together. Explore fields and forests across Yellowstone National Park while you establish a territory and choose a den. Raise your pups by feeding them and playing with them. Protect them from deadly predators who try to kill them.

Over time, your family will outgrow the need for a den and become nomadic, where you teach your pups how to catch their own prey. By next spring they will be yearlings, and test these new skills to help raise the next litter. Eventually, some will venture out on their own and disperse, just as you did all that time ago.

And the cycle repeats, year after year, until you die. The saga of your life begins and ends when you choose, be it one life only or a succession of multiple generations.
Explore realistic recreations of select locations within Yellowstone National Park. Set in the Northern Range (often referred to as "the Serengeti of North America"), where many animals roam meadows, sagebrush steppe grasslands, alpine forests, and high ridges.
But be wary – you are not the only wolf in the area. Rival packs make their home across the landscape and don't take kindly to sight-seeing intruders. Other dangers roam the lands as well – grizzly bears, cougars, and coyotes among them who will vie with you for territory and food.

Raising the bar for realistic and accurate eco-simulation gameplay, many features in the game are directly adapted from wildlife research. Our science advisors include some of the top wolf biologists in the world today, who help us keep WolfQuest accurate to real wolf biology and behavior.
Live the life of a wild wolf! Form your own pack and watch your adorable pups grow into adults and disperse, year after year, until your wolf dies. End your story on your deathbed, or select an heir to continue your legacy.
Dynamic day/night, weather and seasons immerse you into the wilderness.
Wolves communicate with each other using natural actions and vocalizations. Packmates and pups interact and play with each other. Dynamic (family-friendly) courtship interactions help find and choose a suitable mate.
A genetics system models inheritance of each wolf's genes, including eye color, physical and personality attributes, and genetic coat color.
Elk roam the lands in realistic herds, along with moose, mule deer, beavers and other prey.
Animals behave and change to the seasons. Herds migrate through the year. Bucks and bulls spar in the autumn rut and shed their antlers. Cows and does give birth and raise their own young.
Rival wolf packs maintain and protect their own territories from intruders – like you!
Bears, cougars and coyotes will challenge you for your kills and defend their own.
Optional Ironwolf Mode: Live life on the edge, where each decision counts and your death can't be taken back.
Over 100 Achievements and a variety of collectible objects hidden across the map, from shed antlers, skulls, to lost human items.
And a lot more!

Engage in Co-op Multiplayer: Raise your pups together in a group for one game year, maintain territory together against rival packs, or hang out in a sandbox without any real objective.
Live a Wolf's Life Together: Build a pack and raise pups year to year in a special 2-Player Mode, until one of you dies of old age.
Choose who joins your games by selecting if they're public to all, private to friends, or only for select individuals or in-game pack groups.

I recomend this game if youre ok with animal death, and a bit of animal meat bits other than that, its a game that i enjoy playing.
My friend made me buy this game that we played 1 or 2 times she loves it I don't like it but she obsesses over this game so that means it's good if you do not like these types of games for the love of everything do not let your friend convince you to spend 20 dollars to buy this game you should instead use that money to pay someone else to play it with them force one of your other friends to play it. Please steam accept my refund request. I don't want to play as a wolf I've had this game on my account 3 years too long and I bought 3 years ago.
I didn't have the pleasure of playing Wolf Quest as a kid like so many other people who enjoy the game. But that means I can make an honest review of the game without factoring in any nostalgia. WolfQuest doesn't need the nostalgia goggles to still be a great game! I find it very fun and very realistic. In fact, I would even classify this game as educational if you don't know a lot about wolf behavior yet. And for those of us who do, the game rules feel very logical. There is a degree of having to figure things out- the game guides you on your adventure, but doesn't spell everything out for you. You have to find out on your own, for example, that not letting your pups sleep enough means they're more likely to get sick. And in hindsight, that makes sense. This game very much has the feel of being a young wolf figuring out how life works, so as a roleplay game, it excels in that regard. It's a difficult game, but one very worth playing- even in 2026, unlike so many other games that were popular in my youth. WolfQuest holds up, and even still gets updates and new content. I can't praise it enough. The people working on it clearly know what they're doing and care a lot about this game, and it shows <3
Does my wolf have a UTI? It won't let him pee and now I can't mark my territory. Great game aside from the urinary track difficulties xx
This game is fantastic, the development team is extremely helpful and communicative and I adore being able to return to it so many years since first giving it a try. The extra downloadable content feels well worth having bought as a spend of money but also the base game itself is entirely delightful and functional without them and I would easily recommend it alone. Running around as a wolf as the in-game years progress is great fun as you learn the tips and tricks of survival, as it could be put. I've not braved all of the higher difficulties as frankly I don't feel all that much need to, but have enjoyed challenging so far (a step up above easy and you really feel it, especially initially if you test it out whilst more inexperienced) as a game modifier. I've played single player extensively, which has its own merits multiplayer can't recreate or replace, but also the 2-player life saga mode with a friend which is utterly charming and very fun to figure out how to approach slightly differently. I don't think I've played a game I've ever been so motivated to explore all of in achievement attainment, either, which speaks in its favour! The game is definitely pretty, even at the lower settings I use for optimal smoothness in graphic quality, and the amount of information it contains and the things you pick up grounded in very real, accurate-to-life research are fantastically interesting. I'm intrigued by the news of Katmai coast as an expansion later in game content that'll be such an endeavour of some new mechanics that it'll not be base game, so thought to preface that this review can't comment on it as it's written before, but the development team I have full faith in to make it great and upon Wolf Quest exiting Early Access their introduction of the campfire skins for free in the base-game, as well as how the non-player character wolf coats you unlock work all in the default, have me feeling like it's fair of them to select which new content is something requiring payment and which isn't (as buffalo/bison herds for example are another bit that were included in the main game and developed across time, so there's plenty of things that are of no further cost that have come along to make the game what it is). Inter-map migration I've not yet done much of but have started exploring (I previously simply felt no need when Amethyst Mountain and Slough Creek are such rich game maps of their own, both base-game ones which can be moved between, that I wanted to see every corner of over multiple wolf-territory lifetimes solo and two-player), it's definitely been handy though in allowing an individual wolf have variety or a shake up in their save, if so desired!
