Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.43/day in the week to Jul 24 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are a gray wolf in the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. Now dispersed from your natal pack, you're on your own – to hunt, explore, find a mate and form your own pack to raise up a new family. Can you and your little pack survive the trials of the wild?

Surviving in the wilderness is far from easy! Hone your hunting skills by practicing on animals such as elk, mule deer, and moose. Once you've grasped their differences and know your limits against your selection of prey, seek out another wolf to become your mate and form a pack together. Explore fields and forests across Yellowstone National Park while you establish a territory and choose a den. Raise your pups by feeding them and playing with them. Protect them from deadly predators who try to kill them.

Over time, your family will outgrow the need for a den and become nomadic, where you teach your pups how to catch their own prey. By next spring they will be yearlings, and test these new skills to help raise the next litter. Eventually, some will venture out on their own and disperse, just as you did all that time ago.

And the cycle repeats, year after year, until you die. The saga of your life begins and ends when you choose, be it one life only or a succession of multiple generations.
Explore realistic recreations of select locations within Yellowstone National Park. Set in the Northern Range (often referred to as "the Serengeti of North America"), where many animals roam meadows, sagebrush steppe grasslands, alpine forests, and high ridges.
But be wary – you are not the only wolf in the area. Rival packs make their home across the landscape and don't take kindly to sight-seeing intruders. Other dangers roam the lands as well – grizzly bears, cougars, and coyotes among them who will vie with you for territory and food.

Raising the bar for realistic and accurate eco-simulation gameplay, many features in the game are directly adapted from wildlife research. Our science advisors include some of the top wolf biologists in the world today, who help us keep WolfQuest accurate to real wolf biology and behavior.
Live the life of a wild wolf! Form your own pack and watch your adorable pups grow into adults and disperse, year after year, until your wolf dies. End your story on your deathbed, or select an heir to continue your legacy.
Dynamic day/night, weather and seasons immerse you into the wilderness.
Wolves communicate with each other using natural actions and vocalizations. Packmates and pups interact and play with each other. Dynamic (family-friendly) courtship interactions help find and choose a suitable mate.
A genetics system models inheritance of each wolf's genes, including eye color, physical and personality attributes, and genetic coat color.
Elk roam the lands in realistic herds, along with moose, mule deer, beavers and other prey.
Animals behave and change to the seasons. Herds migrate through the year. Bucks and bulls spar in the autumn rut and shed their antlers. Cows and does give birth and raise their own young.
Rival wolf packs maintain and protect their own territories from intruders – like you!
Bears, cougars and coyotes will challenge you for your kills and defend their own.
Optional Ironwolf Mode: Live life on the edge, where each decision counts and your death can't be taken back.
Over 100 Achievements and a variety of collectible objects hidden across the map, from shed antlers, skulls, to lost human items.
And a lot more!

Engage in Co-op Multiplayer: Raise your pups together in a group for one game year, maintain territory together against rival packs, or hang out in a sandbox without any real objective.
Live a Wolf's Life Together: Build a pack and raise pups year to year in a special 2-Player Mode, until one of you dies of old age.
Choose who joins your games by selecting if they're public to all, private to friends, or only for select individuals or in-game pack groups.

Such an amazing game. I have learned so much about wolves and wildlife. I also enjoy that any add-ons (for example, Hellroaring Mountain) are low cost. The game itself is also reasonably priced. I did get it when it was 12 dollars, but I'm glad to see it has risen considering that this game is AMAZING. Definitley recommend!

good game
I love this game so much! I used to play it when I was really young like maybe 10-12 I think. Saw that it had gotten an update and decided to get it again after all these years... even more fun than I remember! I love that you get to raise the pup to full adults! It's so rewarding even if the constant go hunting, pee, protect pups pattern can get a little repeatative the through line tension of making sure your pup survive makes it all worth it (also makes their deaths hit that much harder... cause the chances of them all making it are slim from my experience). Like the fade to black where your pups get just a little bit bigger makes every action worth it. I can't stress how much this game gets you to think like (what I imagine) real wolves have to think like. Anyways, GET THIS GAME!!!
very good :D
好玩!!!!!
Lowkey Cringe --> This is Actually Cool I am new to the world of Wolfquest - and when I started telling my really good friends that I was playing this game, they seemed not too sure about it (let's be honest: "Wolfquest" is kinda cliche, I would be weirded out too lowkey) but then they wanted to see how it played, and they think its really cool! I've learned a ton about wolves. And the Saga experience is amazing - I absolutely love that once you raise your current litter, some will stay with you to help with the pack, some might disperse to start their own packs, and some will be courted with mates (hilarious, by the way, to have five dispersal males flirt with your daughter right in front of you). So the fact that you truly build up your packs legacy is fantastic. My favorite part is the storyline you create with your pack, even if you think it can be repetitive. Each pup, every wolf, has a different personality, and a story to tell. Here are some random things that have happened in my pack that I won't forget: -My firstborn daughter, Bea, running out during a bear attack and getting a permanent scar on her nose. She hasn't left the pack and she is almost 5, the strongest of the pack too! -Clementine had an unknown fate happen to her (she disappears randomly from the pack, no explanation). Years later, I was exploring, and we randomly stumbled across her! She was full grown, and beautiful :) -Opal getting courted and running off with Needoh (I named the dispersal wolves to be funny) into the sunset right in front of me -Going into my daughter, Delphine's territory even though she is a rival wolf now, to discover that she had pups and I am a proud grandmother -My old mate dying from old age (1 star diversity, lazy, loner, cautious), and finding a new mate, my true soulmate (4 star diversity, bold, energetic, and social) and having 6 crazy puppies -Donovan getting sick and recovering at 1% health. He just likes to be dramatic But you can really create your own history and stories with this game. Also, I'm not going to lie I play on easy mode, where it's a pretty chill gaming experience relatively (I'm not ashamed!! Maybe one day I'll work my way up to challenging :D ) But yeah! Get this game... the graphics are also stunning (especially if you turn them up in settings). Have fun!!
this my childhood game bro luv this game
yes
The amount of time, dedication and passion that has been put into this game over the years really shines through in WQ:AE. I'm no stranger to WolfQuest; I started playing in 2016 and have been following the development of the Anniversary Edition since it was announced. This game is proof that education doesn't have to be boring. My love for wolves and the natural world has grown exponentially since I bought this game and I wouldn't have it any other way. The development team is incredible with the amount of time and research they do to balance realism and engaging gameplay. Everything is reasonably priced, there are few (if any) disruptive bugs and glitches, and the soundtrack is incredible. The saga is everything 10-year-old me dreamed of in a wolf game. There are lots of different outcomes within each individual wolf's story, so despite the gameplay loop, there will always be variation between them, and the different encounters and situations you'll find yourself in make for great backstories if you're more into the roleplaying side of the game. There's also a good amount of customizations for both your wolf characters and your gameplay experience. Want to be an overpowered wolf overlord that conquers the entire map and wipes out several herds of elk? You can do that! Want to make your wolf struggle and lose half your pack to famine? You can do that too! My only complaint about this game is the wolf model and animations, which are a bit outdated, but they're not so bad that it's distracting. They could definitely use an overhaul though, once the more important additions to the game are out of the way. Other than that, I would highly recommend this game to anyone who loves animals or wants to learn more about the wolves of Yellowstone.
