The art work and music is brilliant - so well done. The game plays as an interesting puzzle and the the scenes where the game plays out are so pleasant. It was so fun to see the different characters and the things they had to say. And can you pet the dog?...Well, you'll have to find out....
This is such a charming game. The story was delightful and the puzzles were fun to solve. Also, the puns were very much appreciated xD It's really impressive that just one person made all this. I definitely recommend checking the game out.
This game is a quaint experience moving from small problem to small problem, with the main story being completed in a sitting. Witchhazel Woods plays like a point-and-click adventure game, picking up items and seeing if said item will fulfill a cryptid's wants/needs. As you progress, the game tries to throw you off track, but each character will at least respond to what you have. I do appreciate that there are lots of dialogue options in giving different cryptids different items. I held on to as much as I could to see what other characters would say. I did find myself wanting a more complex puzzle requiring two items at once to proceed, but I think technically this only happens once in the main game. There are a lot of other great aspects to Witchhazel Woods, such as the pixel animation and art, but it really left me wanting more. More old gods, more of the bizarre (the bird and the moon animation), more story on the darker side of things. I feel as though this really is just the beginning of a larger game and world and hope it is expanded in the future.

Really liked this game, short but sweet. Good dialogue with a good dose of humour.
A cute, clever gem! Props to the solo developer that put this delightful little adventure together. Fun, quirky characters and witty dialogue win the day. I was a big fan of the detailed backgrounds (parallax scrolling used very effectively) and I couldn't help bopping along to the music. Reminded me of the Hugo series of adventure games from the early 90s (big fan of Hugo 3: Jungle of Doom). Meeting cryptids in the spooky woods never felt so charming! Love this game
The crow(s) stole the show
very cute :)
Short but cute. Adorable ending, woth playing!!
A light-hearted game with some really interesting art and music combined with point-and-click style puzzle gameplay. The game overall is pretty easy, but it's not meant to be super difficult to begin with. A whimsical storyline and some great music to boot, I think it's worth a play if you are looking for something relaxing and more story driven. Characters are funny and art is cohesive, I really enjoyed the short format of the game and found it to be just the right length for me.
