I really enjoyed playing as Brian Fisher and it is an interesting 'escape the cabin' exploratory puzzle game. I thought the puzzles were challenging enough to keep my interest (I confess I used a pencil and paper more than once) but all had clues provided so none required running to a walk-through (not that one would have helped since puzzle elements are variable between games). The circuit puzzle has been made updated to no longer require a knowledge of chess (although, in my opinion, the original puzzle was fair with adequate clues nearby). I had a few challenges with the interface on the maze puzzle and found that my controller worked best for this particular section of the game. Otherwise, I played without error, using a keyboard and a mouse. Navigation is very smooth and objects of interest are highlighted as you approach them. This game was created by a small development team which makes it all the more impressive. I enjoyed the environment, the music, sound effects, and the voice acting (was well done without too much dialog). Best of all, there is an explicit save (in addition to an auto-save) which lets you walk away from an in-process puzzle and return to the same point at a later time. I recommend this to those who love puzzles and exploring. I eagerly await Chapter 2!
Genre
Ein Escape Room Mystery Puzzle Adventure
Story
Was steckt hinter all dem? Das gilt es herauszufinden
Gameplay
Achievement Schwierigkeit 4/10
Es gibt insgesamt 8 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man 8 Rätsel lösen. Diese sind nicht verpassbar aber schon knifflig
Pro/Contra
+ Günstig + Nette Rätsel + Gute Atmosphäre + Voice Acting ist OK + Kurz + Achievements
Fazit
Kapitel 2 gibt es ja schon 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
The combination of mystery, detective like story with escape room type of gameplay (solving puzzles) results in a great game. The puzzles are well balanced, not too hard nor too easy. No need of a guide or walkthrough since every puzzle is solvable if you think hard enough or if you search the map entirely (maybe few times :) for the item(s) you need. I finished the game in 3 hours, so I guess the average playtime is 3-4 hours and by finishing the game, you will unlock all achievements which is good for the achievements hunters, even though I am not one of them, still feels nice to have 100% completion on it. The price tag is close to fair, although it has no replay value, it's still well crafted with interesting puzzles and intriguing story that makes you wanna play Chapter 2. The optimization is not perfect, but still runs mostly smooth. Good job Intetic, amazing debut game! Will be definitely playing Chapter 2 when it comes out!
Fun puzzle game where you have to escape the house by solving four challenges. This story follows detective Brian Fisher who can’t accept that his father, who disappeared 20 years ago, is really dead. After attempting to delve further and ultimately learn the truth, he is knocked out and locked inside a cabin in the middle of the woods. Your character also serves as the game's narrator, as he has already experienced the whole plot. He now remarks on everything you do and expresses how he feels in that moment. The voice actor's voice sounds harsh, as if he is attempting to make the character sound tough, but it does not go too far to the point of sounding comical. Gameplay is a standard exploration game with puzzles. Although you start in third-person mode, you can quickly switch to first-person mode to get a better view of what is directly in front of you. Because significant items are not marked, you must rely on your observation abilities; however, when you go close enough and move the mouse cursor over them, they will gain a bright highlight. Because you will be able to collect a number of items, they will be saved in your inventory. Items are not used automatically; instead, you must select them from your inventory and press the appropriate button. The game has many similarities to adventure games, yet it does not stray too far because the solutions are logical. Some items cannot be collected, but they can still be examined. This is important because you can rotate them and find clues to puzzles. You will need to write down the hints because the game will not do it for you. Puzzles are all about logic. It begins with a code for opening a safe and progresses to moving a ball around a maze, hacking into a computer, flipping switches, and so on. Puzzles are enjoyable, yet they may take some time to solve them. The overall goal is to find four numbers that open the exit. You can find codes in any order, but the house isn’t that big. This also means the game can be finished within one or two hours, depending on your skills.
A detective with daddy issues ends up in the home of a deranged sex pervert who has cameras set up in every corner of the house. Can the detective find his way out of the house, uncover a conspiracy, relocate his father, and capture the pervert? Probably, but this is only Chapter 1, so... The Good:

I like the atmosphere of this game. It always feels like there's someone there with me in that dark, empty house.
The developers actually respond to players on the forums.
A handful of challenging puzzles that test your observational skills. They're not brainmelters, but I certainly wouldn't mind if they were.
Playing as a character who has to figure out how to get out of a bad situation appeals to me.
Creepy ambient OST. It definitly contributes to the I'm-being-watched feeling.
The Neutral:

You can switch between 1st and 3rd person.
The game is pretty short, but to be fair, it is just one chapter.
The Bad:

The subtitles don't always match the voiceovers, and things are sometimes worded in a strange way.
Characters tend to overexplain things in the game, especially the protagonist. I'd like to see the writer(s) do more showing than telling. He also tends to say what is going to happen instead of just letting us experience/observe it ourselves.
The optimization isn't great. The more lights I turned on, the more noticeable it was.
Pro Tips:

You have to select an object to activate it. This applies to the flashlight and goggles.
When you're looking at the computer code, hit the key to read the text to make sure you get the letters correct. Some of them are ambiguous.
While the game has a few drawbacks, I'd say it was a mostly-positive experience. Hopefully the future chapters receive a bit more polish. It sort of reminds me of Darkness Within, but with more puzzles and less detective work.
Visszakértem a pénzemet.
I usually love a good mystery puzzle game but I couldn't get into this one. The dialog sounds like a gruff napolean dynamite arguing with beatleguise. The puzzles are annoying. They aren't hard, but many come with no instructions. The story isn't enough to make me want to continue.
