Fun adventure game, with an interesting focus on Thai folklore. Some parts can be a little frustrating since you can die very quickly if you don't know exactly what to do, but you can save anywhere so it's not a big problem. The biggest issue for me is that the english translation is quite bad. Sure, most of the time you can still understand what they say, but it's something that really needs to be improved.

Imitates the old classic in gameplay and looks, but with a nearly pointless English translation. Mintra, her sister, and a few pals travel to a mansion in the middle of the forest. Things immediately take a strange turn. First you glimpse a weird girl in the woods, then you have dreams about her, and finally the power goes out. That is when you need to find your sister and survive the killer who appears shortly after. The game belongs to the adventure game genre and has very small amount of survival mechanics. It has an old-school feel and plays precisely as it appears in screenshots. The main tool is the mouse cursor, which allows you to move about and interact with items. Hotspots are not indicated, but you can find them by moving the mouse about and paying attention to the words that appear when you locate one. Your cursor also transforms to a hand icon. There is no need to select the appropriate action because you will execute the default one with the left mouse button. This means that you will either examine, pick up, or use something. Strangely, when you click on most items, no comments appear. This becomes a problem when you want to use something but do not understand why it does not work. Speech bubbles for interacting with characters are also available, however there aren’t that many people around. Items are used like in any other adventure game. They are kept in the inventory at the top of the screen, and you just need to click on an item to activate it and then on a hotspot to use it. Unfortunately, some solutions make sense, while others are completely illogical. For example, you can only pick up a little rock with a shovel. Another source of irritation is the usage of matches to light candles or lanterns. Instead of grabbing the entire pack, you only take one match. Once used, you must return to the same spot and collect another match. And there are times when you acquire an item and instantly comment on where you want to use it, but the problem is that you have not encountered the problem yet. Unfortunately, the English translation renders the game nearly unplayable. Although it does have the occasional sentence that makes sense, they are quite rare. Almost every translated piece of text is bizarre and useless. You can play the game without reading the text, but you will not learn anything about the story or the overarching mystery. On the other hand, the game is not particularly long. It mimics the classic it attempts to emulate, and your actions will determine the grade you receive in the end. The quickest way to escape with a car will earn you an F, and you will have to work hard to achieve the remaining five endings. But since you have no clue what to do because there are no objectives, you stumble in the dark most of the time.

🎮 เกมผีไทยและการคลิก สุดหลอน โดยทีมพัฒนาคนไทย กับเกม “คืนหนาว” @Genaticstudio นี่คือเกมแนว Point & Click ฝีมือคนไทยที่สร้างบรรยากาศได้น่ากลัวแบบผีไทยมากๆ ทั้งภาพ เสียง และจังหวะของเกม ทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนกำลังดูหนังผีไทยเรื่องหนึ่งอยู่จริง ๆๆ บรรยากาศในเกมถือว่าทำได้ดีมาก เสียงพื้นหลังและเอฟเฟกต์ต่าง ๆ ช่วยเสริมความรู้สึกอึดอัด หลอน และที่ชอบคือ ฉาก Jump Scare ก็ทำได้พอเหมาะ ไม่น่ารำคาญ และยังมีหลายฉากที่เล่นกับความกลัวของผู้เล่น เช่น จังหวะที่มีอะไรอยู่ใต้เตียง หรือการต้องเดินสำรวจในความมืดโดยไม่มีอะไรชัดเจน สิ่งที่น่าสนใจอีกอย่างคือภาพในเกมให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนเกมเก่ายุคก่อน มีความหม่นและหลอนแบบแปลกตา ซึ่งช่วยเสริมบรรยากาศได้อย่างดี คนที่ชอบเกมผีคลาสสิกน่าจะชอบสไตล์นี้ แม้เกมจะดูยากบ้างในบางจังหวะ เพราะมีคำใบ้ค่อนข้างน้อย แต่ก็ต้องเข้าใจว่าเกมแนว Point & Click แบบนี้จะเน้นให้ผู้เล่นสังเกตฉาก รายละเอียด และคำพูด เพื่อหาความเชื่อมโยงว่าจะใช้ไอเทมกับอะไร จุดนี้ถือว่าผู้พัฒนาทำได้ถึงมาก ๆ สำหรับสายที่ชอบการแก้ปริศนาแบบจริงจัง ใครกำลังมองหาเกมผีไทยที่ไม่ได้หลอนแค่เปลือก แต่เล่นกับความรู้สึกของผู้เล่นแบบลึก ๆ ลอง “คืนหนาว” ได้เลยครับ หลอนได้ใจแน่นอน #คืนหนาว #เกมคืนหนาว #เกมผีไทย #เกมคนไทยทำ #เกมแนะนำ #เกมใหม่ #รีวิวเกม #เกมน่าเล่น #เกมมือถือ #เกมPC

ผมชอบเกมนี้มากเลยครับ อยากให้ทำออกมาอีก เจอบัคตอนอยู่ในถ้ำโดนยิงตายตลอด แต่ก็ลองเล่นหลายๆ ที จนผ่านไปเจอบอสได้ เล่าเรื่องดี ปริศนาโอเค บางอันก็งงๆ เช่น เลือด กับ กาแฟ แต่โดยรวมแล้วดีครับ

เกมมีเนื้อหาเข้มข้น เทคนิคการเล่นแปลกใหม่ แต่ต้องใช้ประสาทสัมผัสที่ไวและความอดทนที่สูงในการฝ่าอุปสรรคต่างๆ

"ผมเลิกเล่นเกมนี้ก่อนที่จะจบ เลยอาจจะไม่สามารถให้ความเห็นเรื่องเนื้อเรื่องได้อย่างครบถ้วน แต่จากที่ได้ลองเล่นรู้สึกว่าเกมนี้มีคุณค่าที่เหมาะสมกับราคา งานภาพมีบรรยากาศที่น่ากลัวและชวนติดตาม อย่างไรก็ตามยังมีจุดที่อาจต้องปรับปรุงบ้าง เช่น การตั้งค่าต่าง ๆ ไม่สามารถปรับได้ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเสียง ภาพ หรือภาษา ซึ่งในเกมนี้มีแค่ภาษาไทยอย่างเดียว นอกจากนี้ การที่เกมไม่บอกทิศทางการเล่นในบางครั้งอาจทำให้เราต้องใช้เวลาค้นหานาน เสียงเอฟเฟคบางจุดอาจไม่ตรงจังหวะกับภาพ และระบบบันทึกเกมที่ต้องเซฟเองบ่อย ๆ หากไม่อยากกลับไปเริ่มต้นไกล ๆ อีกทั้งบทสนทนาในเกมที่เล่นอัตโนมัติ อาจทำให้บางครั้งเผลอกดข้ามบทสนทนาที่สำคัญได้ แต่ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นเพียงความคิดเห็นส่วนตัวครับ ใครที่สนใจแนวเกมแบบนี้อาจจะลองเปิดใจเล่นดูครับ"
