It also allows players to transition into sharps or flats by not enforcing it. The level system also allows players to practice specific sections of the song. [h2]Supports MIDI input[/h2] As stated in the description, it supports MIDI input which is really good for players who own a MIDI keyboard. I've also noticed that the game support playing in different octaves rather than only supporting one octave. There's no advantage to playing in the correct octave as the gameplay only cares about the note but it's still a nice feature. [h2]Custom Music[/h2] It's nice that you're able to import custom music. It does seem a bit buggy as no audio was playing (I used a WAV file) and it also doesn't support playing 2 or more notes at once. It does have the potential to become a great feature though! [hr][/hr] [h1][b]Cons:[/b][/h1] [hr][/hr] [h2]No Offset Setting[/h2] This game really needs an offset setting. I tried to play the game with using the sound from my keyboard rather than the game and all of my inputs were heavily off beat. [h2]Levels[/h2] As much as I do find it a useful feature to practice, it's really tedious to play 20+ levels just to be able to place a rank on the leaderboard. I feel like you should be able to place a rank on the leaderboard regardless of completing all of the levels or not. Not only that, but the Quick Sight mission plays really awkward as the notes and their timing is randomized with makes the gameplay really weird. I feel like a level like this should be a minigame on its own rather than a level of a song. Lastly, I feel like the levels could be organized better by splitting the levels into groups that represent each section of the song and clicking on it would reveal the missions for that section. [h2]Songs are Detuned when Slowed Down[/h2] When playing on Easy/Normal, the song is slowed down to help give the player more time to hit the note. This is a great feature but sometimes the song can sound weird when slowed down since the pitch is also lowered. Thankfully, the in-game piano is also detuned when the song slows down. [h2]Unable to Have 2 or More Notes Played at The Same Time[/h2] The game doesn't support having 2 notes played at the same time. This is a disadvantage that I don't like as importing custom music can make the notes sound weird when there's a section with 2 or more notes. Additionally, I think it would be beneficial to have players also read notes played at the same time to further train their reading skills on sheet music. [h2]The Game Speed Option is Broken (?)[/h2] When hitting the right arrow, the value seems to modulate between 4 and 4.5. When hitting the left arrow, it adds 4 in a new position (i.e. 4 becomes 44 which then becomes 444). [h2]Unable to Play with 2 Clefs at The Same Time (?)[/h2] This is a feature I hope would be in the game but I don't think it's there (?) Same argument as with playing 2 or more notes at the same time, I think it would be highly beneficial to have players be able to practice 2 clefs at the same time to train their reading skills in sheet music. I do think not using a midi input would make the gameplay very weird with this feature but for those with MIDI keyboards, it would be a great feature. [hr][/hr] [h1][b]Conclusion:[/b][/h1] [hr][/hr] Overall, I would rate this game 8/10. It has the potential to become a good rhythm game, there's just some flaws within the game itself that I think should be fixed. Regardless, I enjoyed playing and I'm looking forward to any future updates.

Very nice music game! I'm not a music player and it clearly gave me the feeling of learning and managing to play the piano step by step with my keyboard. The game also allows you to upload any song you find and it will create its partition to play. I was quite impressed by this feature, with that you can be sure to play with the songs you like!

Great game for learning new song and your music reading skill ! As a piano player, I’ve always struggle at the starting process of learning a new song, reading the music sheet is always a part I didn’t like… I really like the fact that you can add your own sheet music to this game ! It ease up the process of learning the beginning without shortcuts just more fun ^^ Reading through a part while hearing the result is really a good feeling ! Also enjoyed the general feeling of the game the scoring system has a good feel to it ! If your are looking for a new kind of music game while learning a bit of music I easily recommend this one !

You are not a musician, you always wanted to discover that univers but you were held back by at the sight of a sheet music ? Winken is for you ! In the form of a rhythm game, you learn the basics of reading sheet music. The learning curve is perfect, with several levels of difficulty and the possibility to train a specific segment. But it is also an excellent rhythm game : it's not an app to learn, it is a game that makes you learned without you even realized it You can also add your own songs which is very nice ! Overall, i love it. That game is kind of addictive , I always launch another level even if i should stop ahah. If you like rhythm games and want to pick up some music skills along the way, i think it's a great game to try !

Very nice rythm and musical game ! Pretty hard to master especially in hard and extreme mode but very addictive ! The diversity of music samples is wide from metal rock to classical, there aren't a lot at the moment but I'm pretty sure there will be more to come soon. Despite that I have been a musician for a long time, I never knew how to read music, while playing I surprised myself reaching the notes without seeing them on screen so I am convinced that the game is a great educative tool to master sheet music readings. I'm looking forward to play with my midi keyboard on Mac OS on a future update, in the meanwhile the computer keyboard works very well.
