Wings of Angels

This AVN has a good balance of story and dating sim mechanics. There's action, heartfelt, humor, and saucy (SFW) moments. No explicitly lewd content. Writing has a good pace and kept me engaged. Gave me a certain Starship Troopers vibe, minus the bugs and fascist pretext. There are quite a few achievable endings, and plenty of choices to unlock them. Some are critical, others seemingly superficial; the outcomes not always readily apparent and rewards experimentation. This may be a con to some who would prefer something more straightforward. Dev has announced a plan to release a guide so check the discussions if you prefer to streamline your playthrough. A single run took me ~6hrs and only unlocked maybe 10% of the CG's. So there's plenty of replay value. Music is good and fit the scenes well. Sound effects are a nice touch; weapon fire, explosions, etc... BG art is fine and girl sprites are cute. Though dev is quite upfront about visuals being AI generated. For a small indie passion project that is perfectly understandable. Narrative is the primary incentive for me, any eye candy being just a bonus. One critique though is I would have liked a bit more backstory development, for both the characters and overall world-building. There is some but a bit more detail would have lended to a stronger investment as a whole. As of the initial release game does have a few bugs. Nothing game breaking, mostly just QoL nuisances or a rare typo here and there. A patch is expected shortly and plan to update this review when it becomes available. This game is actually the ERODH's 2'nd work; previous title being [u]Blew It![/u]. Available on itch if you want to see more from this creator.

A very good story so far, interesting choices and scenarios ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). I mean, What's not to like? Anime girls, multiple choices and a nice story. Would definitely recommened trying it out. :)

For a somewhat short VN it creates fairly strong emotional reactions. And that's due to the strength mostly of character personalities. I think with some work that this could become a stable addition the might even encourage other authors to join it. If the original author would like to expand a little. All in all, solid story, solid romance, 8/10 by my count. I would encourage more people to play it.

A nice sci-fi VN. It is written well enough. The AI art is functional. I've put some extra time into game this recently, it is a bit cathartic for me on a personal level. Most players will probably not put as many hours into this game as I have. That said, the game is short; really only a couple of hours to play through if you read quickly. But still worth the asking price in my opinion. I can't seem to find anything except endings related to the two polar opposite routes, but their versions of the story work well for me and I enjoy them both enough to not really care that much.
