Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wildgate is a PvPvE multiplayer shooter with 3 different modes. In Artifact Brawl, be the first to snatch the Artifact and blast through the Wildgate, or destroy the ships of every rival crew to be crowned the winner. Fleet Battle pits two massive teams of up to 12 players each against one another in relentless, action-packed combat. For a more relaxed looting expedition, salvage treasure and escape with the spoils before getting blown up in Treasure Hunt.
Across all modes your ship is your home and lifeline for you and your prospector crew. Keep it topped up with ice, fuel and ammo so you're ready for anyone or anything the Reach throws at you.

Blast your enemies with hi-tech cannons and gadgets, lure them into deadly traps, or even mess with their ship... as long as they don't sabotage yours first. When your perfect plan goes out the airlock, there's only one option... wing it!

Stay one step ahead as you and your crew navigate the Reach — a vast, ever-changing procedurally-generated map that changes with every game.

Choose from a variety of daring prospectors, each with their own abilities and tools. Whether you want to be a brave pilot holding down the ship or a clever trickster boarding enemy ships, there's no wrong way to commit space crimes!

The Reach is a dangerous, unpredictable place, filled with deadly hazards and treasure beyond your wildest dreams. Navigate through cosmic storms, battle space creatures, and plunder ancient alien ruins for lost caches of loot. Just make sure you beat the other prospectors to the punch, or you'll fly away empty-handed!

This is a fun game that gets even better with friends. My only complaint is that it should have some sort of vote kick or afk out system. It’s very feelsbad to finally find a match and you have some dude afk the entire game farming experience and sand bagging
I very much enjoy playing this game. You can customize your loadout with different weapons, character abilities. I've never had any technical issues. It's NEVER crashed, froze or lagged on me (that I know of) & I think the ONLY thing this game is currently missing is a LOT more players!!! I would recommend going through the tutorial 1st.

Really fun game. Imo it should be free with paid cosmetics but it's definitely worth the money. I enjoy the new proximity chat and I think the game is well executed. I wish it had more players so the matchmaking wasn't as long, but if more people hopped on the game it's a really fun battle royale type of game. I'd take it over any other battle royale's right now for sure.

Wildgate is a bold and distinctive multiplayer experience that blends first-person shooting, cooperative ship management, and extraction-based objectives into a single, high-tension PvPvE framework. Developed by Moonshot Games and published by Dreamhaven, the game sets out to create emergent stories driven by player choice, teamwork, and unpredictable encounters rather than rigid objectives or scripted scenarios. From the very first match, it becomes clear that Wildgate is less interested in traditional shooter rhythms and more focused on fostering moments of chaos, clever improvisation, and shared triumph or failure. Each match unfolds within a procedurally generated region of space known as the Reach, an ever-shifting environment filled with derelict stations, asteroid fields, alien threats, and rival crews. Players take on the role of Prospectors, forming small crews that must explore, scavenge resources, upgrade their ship, and decide how aggressively to pursue victory. The ultimate goal is flexible: teams can attempt to secure a powerful Artifact and escape through the Wildgate, or instead choose domination by eliminating all other crews. This open-ended win condition encourages dynamic decision-making, as no single strategy is guaranteed to succeed in every match. The interplay between on-foot combat and ship-based gameplay is one of Wildgate’s defining strengths. Players are constantly shifting roles, moving between firefights inside stations, frantic repairs during ship battles, and navigation through hazardous space. Ships are not just transportation; they are shared lifelines that require fuel, ammunition, and constant maintenance. Damage is persistent within a match, meaning poor positioning or slow reactions can spiral into catastrophic failure. This reinforces teamwork at every level, as success depends less on individual kill counts and more on coordination, communication, and situational awareness. Combat itself is fast, chaotic, and intentionally messy. Encounters with other crews often erupt unexpectedly, turning quiet scavenging runs into desperate firefights or prolonged ship duels. At the same time, AI-controlled threats and environmental hazards ensure that even uncontested matches remain tense. Storms, debris fields, and hostile creatures can disrupt plans and force crews to adapt on the fly. This constant pressure creates a unique pacing where moments of calm are always undercut by the threat of sudden escalation. Visually, Wildgate embraces a colorful, stylized sci-fi aesthetic that sets it apart from darker, more militaristic shooters. Environments are varied and readable, helping players quickly assess threats and opportunities despite the game’s inherent chaos. Ships feel tactile and lived-in, with clear feedback when systems fail or take damage. Sound design plays a critical role as well, using alarms, weapon fire, and ambient noise to communicate urgency and danger, often before players even see what’s coming. Despite its many strengths, Wildgate can be intimidating. The learning curve is steep, and the game demands an understanding of multiple systems simultaneously. Solo players or those matched with uncoordinated crews may find the experience frustrating, as the game strongly rewards teamwork and shared strategy. Early matches can feel overwhelming, with losses coming quickly and lessons learned through failure rather than guidance. However, for players willing to invest time and embrace experimentation, this complexity becomes part of the appeal rather than a drawback. Progression systems provide a sense of long-term investment without overshadowing the moment-to-moment gameplay. Unlocks and customization options allow players to tailor their playstyle and crew composition, but mechanical skill and decision-making remain the primary determinants of success. This ensures that victories feel earned rather than dictated by progression advantages, preserving competitive integrity while still rewarding continued play. Ultimately, Wildgate succeeds as an ambitious hybrid that prioritizes emergent gameplay over strict balance or accessibility. Its matches generate memorable stories shaped by player decisions, sudden betrayals, daring escapes, and last-second recoveries. While it may not appeal to players seeking a straightforward or casually approachable shooter, it offers a richly layered experience for those drawn to cooperative chaos, strategic risk-taking, and the thrill of navigating uncertainty with a crew. In a crowded multiplayer landscape, Wildgate stands out by embracing unpredictability and trusting players to create their own moments of triumph amid the wreckage. Rating: 8/10
This is what Marauders should have been.
Polished game with a solid idea, takes me back to when I was in high school playing Blackwake with friends. However 2nd day of free weekend and I can't get into any matches, I guess they did not prepare for the increased number of players. It's a multiplayer game and does not have enough content available to make the 30£ price worth it. A game like this should be available for free and monetize using cosmetics, xp boosters etc imo. There's simply not enough to make it worth paying for. It's similar to Helldivers where you'll probably spend a lot of hours in the beginning, but once it starts getting repetetive it's going to be one of those games where you hop on here and there, just like Helldivers.
