Wildgate

Very good game, I have only played the PVE modes with friends up to this point, but that alone is worth it. This game is phenomenal. At the beginning of a match, you get a list of randomised quests, with the exception of a guaranteed quest which is finding and acquiring an artifact which is technically the only mandatory objective. The other quests are to get a bonus of money to fill a bar to get the maximum amount of experience from the game. This doesn't sound like much but I've been leaving out most of the actual fun of the game, which lies in what you do while looking for the artifact, and completing side quests; -You go to locations that float around the map and act essentially as mini dungeons from which to gain upgrades to your spaceship in the form of weapons, and addons. -You fight other spaceships you encounter along the way, and take their loot, weapons, and upgrades upon victory. In essence what this game is is half Sea of Thieves-esque ship-combat game and half roguelike dungeon crawler. But regardless of it's components mechanically, what it is, at the end of the day, is a fun game to play with friends. I certainly recommend.

Such a fun game, the only downside is that sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for games

Played this since the Beta, To any of my Sea of Thieves friends reading this, just try the free wildgate trial RIGHT NOW. You will not regret it I guarentee. It brings back such a nostalgic feel from old 5 boat arena Sot will never recapture - more so, the game runs so smoothly and the servers don't make you rubberband. The developers are fast at prototyping new modes and processing feedback for weapon balance which maintains a fresh meta. This game feels good to learn and keep up to date with. The new Fleet modes are so chaotic and fun, but I do prefer the original Artifact Brawl mode. The discord and other LFG platforms Wildgate uses are a great way to jump in and find people, I have had a blast meeting the Wildgate players and Developers!

Amo esse jogo de verdade! O estilo artístico, os personagens, a jogabilidade, quase tudo nele é excelente, e as partidas são sempre divertidas. Mesmo perdendo, você pode encontrar algo interessante para te manter entretido. Mas, infelizmente, o jogo não conquistou muitos jogadores. Eu até entendo alguns motivos: jogos de serviço atualmente têm dificuldade para entrar em um mercado tão lotado de títulos ruins. Além disso, por mais divertido que seja, ele precisa ser jogado com amigos, e a barreira do custo e a baixa divulgação inicial deixou eles em uma situação difícil de superar . Felizmente, eles lançaram novos modos, um mais focado no PVP e outro no PVE que eu espero que atraia mais jogadores. É um ponto muito positivo que os desenvolvedores estejam escutando a comunidade. Esse jogo merece uma chance, ele é incrível de verdade! Espero muito que eles consigam torná-lo popular, mas se ele for encerrado, não vai ser a primeira vez que sofro com o fim de um bom jogo online. Sofri com o Evolve, depois o Multiversus. Espero que este não entre para a lista.

Wild Gate é uma experiência divertida e promissora, combinando exploração espacial e combates em um estilo que lembra Sea of Thieves no espaço. Apesar da base de jogadores ainda pequena, o jogo oferece sessões cooperativas muito boas e tem iniciativas como fins de semana free-to-play para atrair mais público. Vale muito a pena testar.
