Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 95.14/day in the week to Jul 18 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The world has succumbed to the Wildfrost. Now only Snowdwell and its survivors stand as the last bastion against an eternal winter... Build up a deck of powerful card companions and elemental items, as you battle to banish the frost once and for all!
Perfect your card battling and deck-building skills, and set out on a quest to bring an end to The Wildfrost! Begin each journey with your chosen tribe Leader, each gifted with different randomised skills and stats, before mapping out your chosen path into the unforgiving frosty landscape.
Rescue and recruit frozen companions you find along the way, unearth lost treasures, and spend your hard-earned blings with travelling merchants. The decisions you make and routes you take during each run will help craft a powerful deck, unique to you each time you play.
Collect a huge array of cute, but mighty card companions, as well as handy items and clunker cards to aid you in battle. Experiment with different elemental card combinations to find your winning formula.
Your companion cards aren’t just disposable minions for dealing out damage; upgrade and customise your favourites by adding wobbly charms to enhance their powers, making your deck a powerful (and adorable) force to be reckoned with!
Plan ahead with the help of a dynamic counter system to map out your next move and fend off frosty foes. While Wildfrost battles are turn-based, cards don’t attack every turn. Instead they have a ‘counter’ which counts down the amount of turns until they’re ready to automatically make their move!
By keeping an eye on enemy monsters’ counters, you can plot ahead your perfect play. Buff your companions? Stall an enemy attack? Or maybe count down your own timer to wreak havoc fast! It’s up to you to strategically turn the tide in your favour.
Need a rest? Take shelter in the cosy town of Snowdwell. Here survivors have gathered to keep warm using the power of the Luminice, a giant shard of hot ice.
As you progress after each run you’ll be able to return and gradually help expand the hub town itself, constructing buildings such as a Pet Shop, Inventors Hut and more! These new areas will unlock fun and useful new things to use during your adventures, with new cards, tribes, cosmetics, challenges to complete, and events to encounter.
Think you’ve defeated the Frost Guardian? Even after you’ve beaten back the frost, Wildfrost offers endless replayability, with daily runs and challenges! Test your skills and improve your score!

Extremely polished but just a pretty good gameplay experience imo. A very light "recommend". For the former point it's hard to explain but if you've played a lot of roguelike deckbuilders you'd know what I mean. The devs clearly cared about the minute details and feedback loop. But while the polish is worthy of praise, this isn't a genre where that has ever truly been a make or break for me; it's more a nice to have compared to the baseline mechanics. This isn't a real time action experience where a wonky system can ruin the experience. And that does lead me into the latter point where this feels like a very manufactured product, not a creative one. It feels like very competent devs just took existing games and just kept making random tweaks until it became its own game; not a creative process first. Which isn't a problem inherintly, lots of great games are purely product centric or just polished versions of existing things. Some of my favorite games are essentially stolen ideas with a better budget and hindsight. It's that I don't think this has the juice. I don't really find the combat uniqueness interesting as much as "well I guess it's there". Especially because your companions are often so fragile you'll not really get to use the row and leader mechanic that complexly, as you're either always retreating them or just letting them die. And its best gameplay traits are things that already existed in the genre. So if you're in need for another competent deckbuilding roguelike, then sure here it is. But I wouldn't immediately go for this if there are others that you have yet to try.

Very fun. Most fights are more like puzzles where you have to navigate the fight's mechanics so even the strongest builds can run into walls if you come unprepared. Mods are very easy to install via the workshop and some of them are very very good.
It's neat! I like it. It has a pretty meaningful twist on the Roguelike Deckbuilder formula with the unit manipulation that gives the game a really fascinating angle to consider. It DOES make the game feel like it needs SIGNIFICANTLY more intentional play than, say, Slay the Spire. Though if you aren't blitzing through cards and like to think through lines of play, it's a fun challenge to be rewarded more for sequencing and deliberateness.
great art, lots to unlock, steep curve
Truly one of the most unique roguelite deckbuilders I know and played on Steam. Slay the Spire did a lot of damage by making the standard deckbuilder games almost the same, but with slightly different mechanics. This game has its own identity within the same genre, and beyond its beautiful art (and its really charming), the game is very unique with its mechanics and knows how to push them to break the game in a very fun way. At first, some mechanics seem broken against you, but in reality every mechanic has its broken side but, with knowledge, you can break every single run.
Interesting mechanics and beautiful artstyle. Despite its lighthearted presentation, Wildfrost is a rather difficult deckbuilder that expects you to plan ahead and heavily optimize the interlocking systems of your build. The final boss being your deck from the previous run, this game is a rewarding journey of self-improvement and self-punishment.
덩치열매가 짱이야 ㅋㅋㅋ
A really fun deckbuilding roguelike. It's very punishing if you make a mistake, but also rewards careful planning. Love the art style. Engaging gameplay. What's not to like?
I love this game. It is my second favorite game of all time, and the artwork and music alone make it a joy to play. Let alone mod support, replayability, and sheer enjoyment from a successful run. Once again. Love this game.
