Wildermyth follows heroes over their whole careers, from their pitchfork days to their powerful primes, and on into old age and memory. It’s a party-based procedural storytelling RPG where tactical combat and story decisions will alter your world and reshape your cast of characters.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Sep 14 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very good game. Deserving of the overwhelmingly positive review. Requires a bit of patience. Heavily story driven, where choices matter. The combat is okay but not the main draw. It feels like a tabletop game but virtual, or like a fantasy story that comes to life depending on the choices you make and the way the game progresses. 9/10 with a tiny bit of room for improvement. The multiplayer could be a little better. But this game is so unique and has so much personality. A real gem in todays world of generic gaming.
Plays just like a TTRPG.

I thought having procedurally generated story elements would make the plot boring and meaningless, but it's more like a Crusader Kings-style RPG. The writing is very well done and detailed. The random events combine to form narratives that end up being pretty compelling, especially if your characters have children who grow up and join the party too. The combat, gear upgrades, equipment and such are a challenging enough puzzle to require some strategy. The music is cool. The 2D/paper-cutout art style is unique. Overall I think it's an enjoyable game, both as singleplayer and multiplayer. My only gripe is that the UI in multiplayer is a bit fiddly. People can't act simultaneously in battle, and some actions (crafting?) seem to steal focus from other people's cursors. Also, there seem to be glitches sometimes when reading the story panels in multiplayer, where one or more players aren't shown the story segment and don't get to read it. There are some other instability issues, crashes, and minor bugs that I trust will be patched over time.
Very fun but kind of annoying MP gameplay as it runs like a couch coop, so you kinda keep interrupting each other.
Suuuuper fun. If you want a less complicated D&D experience then this is for you. Just finished the first campaign and It was so good. Only thing I really would add is more character clothing/armour customisation. This game offers a good challenge for strategy and planning. 100% recommend!
