lost the office key while opened the door, then i loaded a previous load and i couldnt remember where the 5th angel was....so i quited. sorry bro.
This is just another cheap indie horror game with a terrible save system. You can only save if you have a cassette tape in your inventory and only in one spot in the entire house that I could find. I only found two cassette tapes, so I could therefore only save the game twice. I will never understand why indie developers in particular do not want players saving their games. I also don't typically get motion sickness in first person games unless the fov is very low combined with a headbob effect. And that's precisely what you will find in this game. There is no fov slider and no way to disable the headbobbing effect. I therefore experienced some of the worst motion sickness ever with this game because of this. I will say however that the game is very well optimized. So the developer did a great job with that aspect. I just wish there were more options such as an fov slider, a way to disable the headbob effect, and a better save system.
The insistent knocking on the door was starting to pmo until I got to the staircase and looked down at the window of the front door and had seen the beauty in lingerie waiting on my inconsiderate ass to let her in, how rude I was. It was a decent game, definitely took a turn I was not expecting. The ending made it worth getting through some of the slower portions of it.
this game is incredibly confusing to figure out and is honestly a fever dream. I had to go to the deep dark depths of reddit to find the smallest amount of help and even with that I couldn't finish the game and probably won't try again. Also, the typos in the dialogue drove me insane lmfao
The concept of walking around a spooky house solving puzzles and exploring new areas is always a good one. Unfortunately, a lot of decisions lead to this game feeling really awkward. There is a great deal of jump-scares early on, almost to a silly degree. Some of them the audio is blaringly loud (I took my headphones off multiple times). The "puzzles" so far are entirely checking cabinets for items and then eventually using those items on the right locations which then give you other items to use in another location. The only time an actual puzzle has appeared so far was putting the four weights in and that was decent but then for some reason the keypad had the keycode written on the wall next to it too. The story has not really come together to anything coherent so far, but maybe it does later. The game also, for some reason, features both limited inventory space and limited sprint-speed. Sprinting is exceedingly slow in the first place and the sprint-o-meter runs out within seconds. In Resident Evil, you have limited inventory making for interesting decisions about your loadout--do you bring healing items? Which weapon? Extra ammo? Will you need any key items? Here you have no control over your inventory (no item box) so when you run out of inventory space you just have to go walk to wherever you need to use a key-item and then tediously return to get your new item (all while waiting for your sprint to recover). There also seems to be some very basic combat in this game but it has been pretty meagre so far. For context, I got to the part where you get the gun in the bathroom before spending an extra 15-20 minutes walking around trying to find out what to do before giving up. An enemy spawns after getting the gun, but no other events seem to be triggered. My best guess is I missed one of the wooden animals in one of the dozens of cabinets across the home and need to pixel hunt to find it, but sadly I think I'm just ending it here. I think with some polishing and patching the game could be pretty cool (reducing the jump scares, audio improvements, more inventory space, more sprinting (or better yet no stamina system), and more logical/not-obscure progression), but as is it is just rather unpleasant and tedious rather than scary sadly.
I enjoyed this game. jump scares, puzzles, like a mix of resident evil, halo monster space mashup. You def need more saves in the house at the beginning there is a stretch of time where i had to replay quite a bit(at least 2 more due to the kitchen suprise and the room with the angel puzzle), almost 2 many in the 2nd part but lacking in the first 20 minutes of the game. The achievements do not work, i finished the game and i get 2? yeah oookay. Also some spelling areas in your English doc. your in one of them was oury but nothing to major I never did find that office key box but i guess it's because i used it on the actual office...never found the level 5 key either. i'm not one to go and replay games or dig through my saves trying to figure out on my own *i've watched a few walkthough none of them show level 5 room...so if anyone ever does get in there or opens the office box let me know what's in there please.
Doesn't Matter Games had a good one here. A few of the jumpscares were really good... the game itself is pretty fun to play with all the random visitors to the home (which it all comes together nicely in the end as to who and why you're being visited in the first place). A little different from his "Lost Alone" series... but all in all a pretty fun experience.
