ngl ts buns feels like im playing a knockoff resident evil 7 mechanics suck sound design is goofy overrall designs are buns and the ai voices man like come on
Game is not something special story was great i didn't played this game because of weapons walking style running style in a word gameplay mechanics
Quick Summary: A Horror game that made me feel like I was scammed and ended up playing something that was lined in excrement (Literally) for the 1.5 hours of game time. Horrible hit detection, poor asset flip reuse, a non-sensical story, and you can tell they thought they were clever, and even though it's made by a one man dev. I've seen better and played better from others. Just don't. -See Below for Deeper Review- Gameplay: A FPS Horror, with a light combat system. You'll move from point A to B shuffled along finding random melee weapons that all seem to do the same hit damage, if you can even tell you're hitting anything, and a few ranged weapons that again make it seem like you're shooting peas at a enemy. Mix that with while it's hard to tell if you're hitting, it's sometimes hard to tell if you've been hit. The game just struggles. If it was a walking simulator and the combat was dropped it may have been a better received game, but as it is, it's a poor execution in gameplay. Storyline: A streamer goes missing while exploring a haunted house and as the only cop left not at a riot you're sent in to investigate. Yet, it's all poorly done again. The streamer segment could have been cut entirely, the game never delves into anything with it's main character short of "I'm cop" and you're left with a ending that didn't resolve or even leave anything on a cliff hanger, it kinda just ends.. Graphics: It's ok at the start, alot of asset flips, using standard house model items found, then the 2nd half of the game the developer decided to use a texture on everything that can only be described as someone took crap and wiped it everywhere. It's suppose to be tissue, but man it's rough. It made the little bit of enjoyment from the 1st half fade away into nothingness by the second. Repeated enemies, Repeated textures, mis-use of assets flip. Not great. Sound/Music: AI Voices, No real music, sound effects were there. Final Thoughts: I have played a lot of horror games, and I can tell you this is one of the worse. It's just not worth the time or effort. I feel bad cause it's a solo dev and it's far better than anything I could make myself, but at this time, this isn't the game to be the pride and joy and feels like it's needs to go back in the oven and worked on alot more than what we got.
This was alright to begin with, it started off as this creepy and atmospheric walking simulator, as the streamer & the police officer to begin with, was nice! Especially in the tunnels and the jumpscares. I also enjoyed that section in that library bit, with that glitchy entity, was kinda funny, and it was almost like a stealth section. Some of the puzzles were simple. But then it suddenly turned into the a survival horror, which was like Resident Evil/Silent Hill, which it suddenly became gross and gloomy with those skeleton like creatures running around and chasing you, unless you hid haha. Then at the end, it suddenly became Exit 8.. which didn't seem to work. As was I looking for anormalies? I didn't know until i found that note, but even when I thought I spotted some, and I tried to go back, I couldn't and had no choice but to go forward, and then starts the cycle again. The combat, especially with the boss fights, I wish some of the chests had more fixed items, like shells or whatever I needed, like medicines. And that section after the tunnels with those spinny things, was a bit too long. Overall, I did have fun, I screamed and I liked the start of the game, however, some things did need working on. Here is my video. https://youtu.be/WnM4GmlRljk
I got this as a steam key from keymailer. I was very excited to play because I heard that the dev created a good game with the apartment 1406 but as much as I wanted to like this game and i think it does have potential, it is not my favorite. I had my chat chose the mode we would play, they chose nightmare, so that is what I played. However, the mode didnt seem nightmarish. To me it was more in normal mode than nightmare. I did not feel like I was turning every corner scared or getting anxiety opening a door. Like i previously stated it does have potential but it seem like it is not focused and is just all over the place. At this moment it is not a game i would recommend, however maybe in the future. I will also remark that I was told to still try out Apartment 1406 which is what i will be doing.
ME GUSTO LA AMBIENTACION MUCHO Y GRAFICAMENTE SE VE ESPECTACULAR, AUNQUE YO MORIA TODO EL TIEMPO. LO RECOMIENDO PARA PASAR UN BUEN RATO. Juego Completo : https://youtu.be/Ufl0UDaADbQ
