I just gave Whisper a shot in Early Access and here are my thoughts. The vibe is pretty creepy old mansion, weird noises and shadows keep things tense. It definitely has its spooky moments and some puzzle bits that can be fun to mess around with. That said, it still feels like a work-in-progress in places (which makes sense since it’s Early Access). Some parts kind of drag or feel unfinished, and there were a few little bugs/rough edges here and there. Still, I could tell the devs put effort into the atmosphere and story idea, and it’s kinda cool to explore if you’re into atmospheric horror. Overall not perfect, but if you like slow, creepy horror with puzzles, it’s worth a look now and could get better with updates. Play with headphones on for the best effect. 👻

The game is really good, especially for an indie title you can truly feel the effort and passion behind it. The mechanics are fun and the idea is creative. But in some parts, it almost feels too well made 😄 Maybe the difficulty could be balanced a bit more. Still, it’s definitely a game worth supporting. Great job!
This game has potential. There are definitely a couple things that I think need to be added, changed and removed. The whispering that the main character does is way too silly, doesn't add much to the atmosphere of the game, and honestly was a little off putting. ALL of the jumpscares felt confusing and were just loud and shook the camera- which is not very scary in my opinion. I need MORE story. I was not a fan of the story just being "bad things happened here, be careful of what's in the shadows" story with very little details. I would love to revisit once the game has been updated and these things mentioned have been addressed. Thanks again for letting me play your game! It was an honor. ♡
Just as graffiti artists evolve into mural artists, indie game developers can, over time, become sources of inspiration for big games and lay the foundations for major projects. Whisper is a solid attempt for a start. In fact, with further development, this project has real potential to grow into something bigger. As they say, full support for indie developers — supporting them means watching their projects grow, which is great for the industry. That’s why I’m giving this game a chance and recommending it to everyone.
The lighting—or lack thereof—is fantastic. Your flashlight feels like a fragile lifeline against the oppressive shadows.
The atmosphere is very well done you feel a constant tension without the game overusing jump scares! Exploring the manor is engaging and the puzzles are simple but effective, even though the game is still in early access, it already shows great potential If you enjoy horror games focused on atmosphere and mystery it’s definitely worth trying🤗
You can't see when you play the maze toy, the lantern goes away, can't turn it on while your in the game. The graphics adjustments are useless, the words are cutoff so you don't know what you're adjusting. I wanted to brighten the screen so I could see the maze game, I couldn't find the switch.
oyun deneyimime göre oynadığım ilk korku oyunuydu çok korkmadım ama sadece bir süreliğine yalnız yatamayacağım galiba korktum
Whisper is a first-person horror adventure developed and published by Uzun Production that places players inside the unsettling confines of Whisper Manor, a location burdened by a dark past and supernatural mysteries. Built around exploration, investigation, and psychological tension, the game aims to immerse players in a haunting environment where every room hides another clue and every sound raises questions about what may be lurking nearby. Rather than focusing on action-heavy gameplay, Whisper embraces a slower and more suspenseful approach that encourages players to absorb the atmosphere while unraveling the manor’s secrets. The game's strongest asset is its environment. Whisper Manor is designed to feel oppressive and unpredictable, creating a constant sense of unease as players move through dim corridors, abandoned chambers, and forgotten corners of the estate. The manor itself serves as more than a backdrop; it functions as the centerpiece of the entire experience. Through environmental details and careful level design, the mansion gradually reveals fragments of its tragic history, rewarding players who take the time to explore thoroughly. The sense of isolation is amplified by the first-person perspective, which makes every discovery and every frightening encounter feel more personal. Storytelling plays an important role throughout the adventure. Players take on the role of an investigator determined to uncover the truth behind the strange events connected to the manor. As the narrative unfolds, layers of mystery emerge, revealing tales of suffering, hidden secrets, and supernatural forces that continue to influence the estate. The game avoids simply presenting scares for their own sake and instead uses its narrative to provide context for the horrors encountered. This approach helps maintain engagement by giving players a reason to keep searching for answers despite the dangers that surround them. Exploration is closely tied to puzzle-solving, another major component of the gameplay. Progress often depends on discovering clues, examining objects, and solving environmental challenges that open access to new areas of the mansion. These puzzles are integrated into the investigative theme, making them feel like meaningful parts of the story rather than isolated gameplay segments. Successfully overcoming obstacles often leads to new revelations about the manor and its history, reinforcing the connection between gameplay and narrative progression. The horror itself relies heavily on atmosphere and anticipation. Whisper appears to favor psychological suspense over direct confrontation, allowing fear to build gradually through uncertainty and environmental cues. Strange noises, mysterious whispers, shadowy figures, and unexpected discoveries contribute to a persistent feeling that something is always watching from beyond sight. This method of horror is particularly effective because it keeps players alert and encourages them to imagine threats before they are fully revealed. The tension generated by not knowing what lies ahead often becomes more frightening than any explicit scare. Visually, the game adopts a realistic presentation that complements its dark themes. The detailed interiors and gloomy lighting help establish a believable setting while supporting the overall mood of dread. Combined with sound design that emphasizes eerie whispers and unsettling ambient effects, the game creates a sensory experience intended to keep players uncomfortable throughout their journey. Playing with headphones greatly enhances the atmosphere, as audio cues frequently become essential components of the suspense. While Whisper follows many familiar haunted-house horror conventions, it demonstrates a clear understanding of what makes those conventions effective. The combination of mystery-driven storytelling, exploration-focused gameplay, puzzle-solving mechanics, and supernatural horror creates an experience that should appeal to players who enjoy immersive and atmospheric adventures. Those seeking fast-paced combat may find the game relatively restrained, but fans of slower psychological horror are likely to appreciate its emphasis on tension and discovery. In the end, Whisper succeeds as a traditional horror experience that prioritizes mood, mystery, and immersion. Its haunted setting, investigative narrative, and carefully crafted atmosphere work together to create an engaging journey through a mansion filled with secrets. Although it may not dramatically reinvent the genre, it effectively delivers the type of suspenseful exploration and supernatural intrigue that horror enthusiasts often seek. Rating: 6/10
