Whirligig Media Player

My preferred video play for my Rift CV1. The dev has stuck with it for years, on his own, and while there's a issues here and there, it's pretty good and the price is just right.

Das ist der beste Player. Desktop-Ansicht geht auch. 360° und 180° und oder was dazwischen. Top-Bottom oder Side by Side ist kein Problem. Ich steuer den Player über die Tastatur und oder Maus. Jedoch muss man dies erst einmal für sich ordentlich einrichten und die Tasten belegen. Dies dauert - da es auch iwie kein richtiges Tutorial gibt, aber eine Leichte Bedienungsanleitung auf der Homepage. Die Menüs sind etwas verkopft und verschachtelt aber er bietet alle Funktionen die ich je benötigt habe und hat bis jetzt jedes Video abspielen können. Für das Geld auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung - Und der Entwickler scheint ein guter Typ zu sein XD

Приложение хорошее, но невозможно отключить автоматическое появление в кадре органов управление если рука окажется перед гарнитурой. Можно либо отключить управление полностью и потерять возможность зайти в настройки либо стараться не шевелить руками перед гарнитурой.

インターフェースにおいて複数回の原型を留めない変更が行われていることから、過去の情報を参照して設定項目を確認することが難しい。 また一時間ほど調整（起動オプションなど開発者項目の変更を含む）を行ったものの、最新版ではどうやら内臓WebBrowserを起動することができない状態で固定される事例を複数例確認。 本製品は自動的にSteamVRやOpenXRの組み合わせでビルド形式が切り替わるらしいのだが、どうも利用している別Programと競合して、VR端末上で機能させているにもかかわらずOpenXRで起動してしまう場合がある。 ForceOpenVRで起動しても内部設定項目がOpenXR起動版と共通になる場面が多発しており、またUI変更の結果として、そもそもこれが適切な起動状態なのか確認することが難しい。 フォーラムをいくら調べてもよくわからない不具合がどういった条件か不明だがおきる有料ソフトウェアというのは、いささかお勧めしづらいと思う。

This program works great, it plays both steroscopic and monoscopic panoramic video, also allowing you to select what type of view the video is stored in (horizontal, vertical, etc. with a number of different personalization features for your viewing comfort, such as distance to playback and the curvature of non-VR media (you can bend the panel around you it's cool!) I have not used Whirligig super recently, but it is the only program I need to view VR Videos! I don't anticipate needing a different program unless Whirligig somehow becomes unavailable, which at the moment seems quite unlikely.

I'll give this a thumbs up with a caveat. It works OK. I like it. But the damn beta feature of that huge circle menu pops up even when beta options are turned off. It's silly because I'm trying to do something and the huge wheel menu attaches to my hand and blocks everything. I don't see the point anyways since it's not like I can't do everything from the main menu already. the biggest problem though is that the beta feature switch is broke itself so it's always on. Turn that thing off. It's annoying and the reason I hardly every use the program.
