Whimsy

Nice small free game with earth and nature spirit themes. A couple of things were a bit cryptic but overall this is a satisfying short game.

It's a free game so no reason not to play. The puzzles in this game are a little more difficult as some do not include hints. For example, the firefly puzzle would require you to match the colours of the wings and the shapes. I had assumed I had to match every colour and became a little confused. It would appear I was not the only one. I just tended to just test my luck with some of them while others had more logical solutions. I would say it is not the best work but some may find this to still be enjoyable. It did feel more of a test game to see what puzzles would work and those that did not. I would still recommend because it is free but nothing else I'm afraid. I do have to agree that the controls are a little funky as you have to fight with the text box at times but you will get a hang of it. Personally, I did enjoy their other games as they were more polished. This does not mean Whimsy is a bad game. I will note that the music is incredibly quiet to the point I had to almost max out my PC's volume. It was max in the settings too. The sound effects were fine though and I kept that quite low because of this.

Короткий загадочный p&c с неплохими загадками. Визуал и тактильность простенькие и уступают последующим проектам разработчика, звучит игра скудновато, но стиль и почерк выдержан, в этом что-то есть. Скоротать вечер за шевелением извилинами сгодится.

Cute artstyle and can be finished in under an hour. Puzzles are decent enough just a little janky with dragging things around for a couple of them. If you're sure you've got it correct then just double check that everything is placed correctly. Thank you for the chill experience!

45 minutes of delight. A sweet, simple story with approachable puzzles. I know games take a while to make, but I'd play every game ever made by Madison. Birth is one of my favorite games of all time. I can't wait to dig into Landlord. Truly magical all around.
