This game is fun as hell. There are some things I would like to see in future updates that would make this game perfect. 1. Settings need to have the option to change controls. Needs option to change interface scale because HUD and menu looks way overblown on my 4k tv. 2. Rocket bike sets the bar for all vehicles when it comes to fun factor; add rocket boost and increase the top speed of the quad, buggy, cycle, etc., because why not? 3. There should be a better thought out freeplay mode that allows for tweaks to the abilities of the vehicles and invincibility. Add a point system. 4. Split-screen multiplayer needs fixing. First thing you notice if you try split-screen is that the HUD is only for player 1. It is also tedious because if you want to change bikes player 1 has to spawn it in. Player 2 can pause but has no control over the menu which is mildly frustrating. Players have no competition as far as I can tell, and only player 1 has an arrow to the next checkpoint. 5. There are minor bugs that make the game feel a bit unstable, which is understandable. There are lighting glitches that make different part of the maps unplayable unless you mess around with the graphics settings. Sometimes you will phase into a rock and get stuck. The screen tweaks out after you exit to main menu from within the game. I get random frame drops and even with lower settings I still get around 50fps, which is playable, but my pc can handle graphically intense games at 4k with no issues and usually right around 60fps. There could be some optimizations here. However, certain things appear to have just not been thought out. For example, when going over the edge of certain maps you will freefall for a while before you despawn and nothing happens. Go over the edge on other maps and you will despawn instantly, or fall for a long time then hit flat plains that last forever. There should be an easy restart that doesn't reset the whole map, just respawns the player. 6. Checkpoints should have more contrast, I have accidentally hit the wrong checkpoint so many times. 7. Vehicle control is pretty hard to get used to and still I struggle sometimes to tilt the bike upright, especially if it's upside down against a hill. I will usually just spawn in another bike. Air maneuverablility definitely needs to be improved. Cornering can be almost impossible with certain vehicles. Luckily the rocket bike can be used to get around some of the weird corners and skip parts of the map, which I think adds a lot to the fun of the game. As a side note, I think adding a manual mode for the bikes would be interesting. This game could easily be one of my top favorites with some features added and bugs fixed. Thank you for reading.
