Great narratives and amazing interactive gameplay.
This game is absolutely gorgeous. I knew very little about it beforehand, and played the entire thing in one ~3.5 hour sitting, and just had my world rocked. At multiple points I had a *verbal* reaction to something that happened in the game, even though I was just sitting alone at my computer. In the few days since then, I've been thinking about it non-stop. Poetry. And if you yourself are from/familiar with the PNW, especially the Puget Sound region, definitely prepare for an extra dose of *eerieness.* The game ran pretty well on my laptop, which was a relief, because historically it tends to really struggle with 3D world generation of any decent quality. I went into the graphics settings before starting the game and lowered about half of them to "Medium", and lowered another one or two more to "High", and other than a small bit of temporary stuttering/lag whenever I entered a new area for the first time (with the scale of "area" I'm referring to being along the lines of "the first floor of the house" or "the backyard" or "the rooftop", etc.), it ran like a charm. Overall, super pleased & forever haunted, thanks; will absolutely be returning at some point to 100% this game but I think I ought to wait for the Existential Revelation to settle a bit more before re-exposing myself.
It is basically an interactive movie. Really artistic and beautiful!
