純手繪的搞笑美術,加上機智問答的玩法,是一款可以加強英文的遊戲。
What Are You Stupid

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1609121109

Crim's Humble Opinion Curator This hilariously hand drawn battle trivia game is a pretty solid trivia game. You run around the houses of you entire family and challenge them to a quiz game. During the battle, you are simply asked questions in a multiple answer format. Each character or stage you play, is a different genre of trivia. There is a wide range of topics such as video games, science, food, eastern culture, sports, and more. There are fifteen different characters to go up against. The balance of difficult to simple questions can sometimes be hit or miss. You might think that it is obscure or simple, but it does a decent job of balancing the trivia and not forcing it into an extreme niche knowledge base. When I first started playing I though the text speed was a little slow and the questions were way to easy. Finding the balance for this in a trivia game always seems to be difficult. Battles progressively get harder as far as how much damage the opponent does when you miss a question, how fast the timer goes down, and how much health the opponent has. Each correct answer nicks some of your opponents health and each incorrect answer takes away your health. Once the opponent reaches a halfway point the caricature gets flustered and the game gets faster. This is where the art and dialogue comes shining in. The art style is all hand drawn and the characters have over exaggerated expressions at almost all times; much like an old comic strip. The silliness of the dialogue combined with the quirky and over the top hand drawn art style at an ever increasing pace makes this feel a bit like a Warioware game but in a solely trivia format. The almost lounge like music sets the tone pretty well for the art style. The voicing is pretty funny as well. It's kind of like ubbi dubby from Fat Albert. There are unlockables for getting great scores on each level which gives this game some degree of replayability, but it is a trivia game so you are bound to eventually run it's course due to repeating questions. You get graded based on how many questions it took for you to take the opponent down combined with how many you missed or ran out of time on. The way the format of genre is set up you may find some battles particularly difficult since you don't have knowledge in that particular subject or because of your taught knowledge. I had a particularly hard time on the Eastern Knowledge. I think it took a friend and I a good 6 or 7 tries to take them down which was stressful but fun. I can see where some of the western or political knowledge could be difficult for someone from the eastern side of the world for similar reasons. I did wish the middle dialogue was skippable. That being said this game is really strongest in a "multiplayer" or party like scene. Having a bunch of people sitting around this game works out. At the end of each battle, it ends in the same comedic way. You run insults off your opponent that are themed to their trivia type, they call you stupid; and you yell back I'm not stupid. It sort of becomes like each opponent is a small comedic skit. You can rechallenge the levels until you get an A to get the unlockables.
Pros
+Drawn caricature style +Funny dialogue with Ubbi Dubbi like voicing +Good fitting soundtrack +Great for party trivia +General trivia keeps it from being to niche targeted
Mix
~Trivia questions can be obscure or too simple, but the balance is difficult to find; so it's not a real con for me. ~Some topics are a bit difficult solely based on your geographical location and learning such as Western or Eastern trivia.
Cons
-Limited replayability due to running into questions again -Not able to skip middle dialogue in fights Trivia games are always hard to balance and this one does a pretty decent job of it. It took me around 3 hours to clear the game the first time and I'll revisit it for the rest of the achievements. You really have to decide if you love trivia games to play this. I enjoyed the witty dialgoue and fun questions combined with the art style. If you know trivia games, you know the balance is hard to find; and this game is no different. If you are put off by this wait for a sale, but this is still a game I can recommend.
Great Game! Funny as Hell! Dear Developer, Too many US-based questions, not all your player are american you know!

You head over there in the hope of getting some attention, but they’re having none of it! They aren’t very pleased with you for doing so, so they kick you out of the room. This continues as you visit other family members, but they all think you’re some stupid little boy, so to get respect and revenge you challenge each of them to a Quiz Battle. You’re at home, which you share with your Mom, Dad, brother Dave and sister Nat. Here you’ll get some tips on how to play the game. You are then ready for your first quiz battle; your Dad, whose specialist subject is “Anything Obvious”, is first to test your knowledge. Once you beat your dad, you progress to level two and then this will also unlock the rest of the people you can battle. You can then choose who you’d like to battle next. Ideally, choosing those categories you’re not very good at and getting them out of the way while on an early level is the best thing to do. The only two you can’t battle at any time is Uncle Wilbur (Final Boss) and the Librarian, who is an extra character and you can only battle her once you’ve taken care of Uncle Wilbur.Levelling up will make the speed of the text faster, give your opponents more HP, give more damage to you etc if you get a question wrong. To find out information on your opponents and their chosen subjects you click on them; if you fancy taking them on, hit the Challenge button. You level up each time you beat one of the characters. Each character has a health bar just as in fighting games; the first person to lose all their health loses. If you get a question right, then your challenger loses some health; get it wrong and you lose some. When your challenger’s health gets around the half way mark, they turn mad and start humiliating you; their nicely brushed hair is now a mess, they’re foaming at the mouth and have bulging eyes, because they can’t take being beaten by a little boy who they consider stupid. Your grade is determined by the percentage of correct answers; get all or most of them right and get a grade A, which will also unlock some items. For example, if you beat your Dad and get a grade A, you’ll get his funny vacation photos (selfie with Jaws behind him), which can be found in your room (kind of a trophy room). If you want to visit another house apart from your own home, there’s a little tricycle in the room; clicking on this will open a map of all the houses you can visit and hovering your mouse over them will let you know the subjects at each place. Each house will have a different form of travel - tricycle, skateboard, scooter. I had to laugh at one of my Uncles who went past in the background ringing the bell on my bike! All the characters are crazy, and even more so when beating them, change personalities. Grandma, for example, is a western specialist, so she starts off yee-hawing as a cowboy, but when the health bar drops to around half way she becomes an Indian with a tomahawk and cries “Ow Ow Ow Ow!”! Then there’s the scientist who turns into a Frankenstein’s monster look-a-like, with plugs hanging out each side of his head; and Aunt Mary (food & drinks specialist) who says, “I’m the Fat Lady and I haven’t sung yet,” while wanting a rematch. They all totally lose it when beaten! In total there are sixteen different categories, which cover Animals, Video Games, Sports, Geek Stuff, Socialites, Movies, Food & Drink, Music, Eastern Subjects, Western Subjects, Ancient History, Science and Anything Difficult. There seem to be quite a few questions on each subject, so you shouldn’t get the same ones all the time if you fail in battle. There is also a Battle Report, which shows your progression through the family members and the results as you rise to the top.All the artwork in the game is hand-drawn and is very good. I do like the way the characters change while you’re beating them, and how their egos are knocked down a notch. The music is very good with an upbeat vibe. The comebacks and abuse chat are great and is personalised by what their specialist subjects are. On the menu screen you’ll find options, three slots for profile saves, delete profile and start game. The options consist of Fullscreen On or Off, Music, Voices and SFX volume sliders. Positives + Good, funny quiz battles + Nice hand drawn art work + Nice music + Achievements Negatives - No cards- I Am Stupid (Need to brush up on American history)A crazy quiz battle game where you’ll have your opponent’s pulling their hair out as you beat them at their own subjects to prove “I’m Not Stupid!” 7/10
Key provided by developer/publisher for review purposes via THE CPT FROGGY CLUB! This game has no motivation, and the quizzes are either too obscure or way too easy. This just isn't worth your money. You could get the same effect buying a quiz app on your phone.
雖然在遊戲性上就只是在做選擇題而已,這個遊戲的純手繪美術仍然是相當值得肯定。
I have never been a fan of quiz game, and this game is more like a comedy show with a quiz theme. For those who expect a serious game show quiz, you'll be disappointed. I gotta admit that I fell for its awesome arts and the character design is hilarious. The con is probably no replay value once you cleared the game, but an overall great game and very entertaining one. NOTE: There are minor cussing and satire humor inside it.
I was a little apprehensive about buying this for 5$ because a lot of quiz games on steam are pretty bad but I liked the look so I gave it a try. I must say I was not disappointed. This game was funny with nice art and enjoyable music. The questions were a nice mix of difficulties with some trick questions. The characters are awesome and their reactions are priceless. I love how their looks and reactions line up with the quiz category they represent. Features I really liked was the way you could pick your subjects in order of your chosing because it gets harder with each opponent. So you should start with subjects you are worst at. Also liked that you could back out of a quiz whenever you liked. So you don't have to finish it if you are doing poorly and wouldn't get an A. Although a quick restart button here would be appreciated so you don't have to go back to the room to pick characters each time. What I didn't like was how slow it can be. For example at the end of a quiz you have to sit through some extra dialogue and clicking. And yes, it was funny, but after reading it one time that's enough, so a skip button here would be appreciated also. But all by all it wasn't as slow as some other games I've played. I also didn't love the "boss" being economics, business and politics but that's just because I'm so horrible at that subject. The devs should do an extra spell/question check though. But I have to say the English was very good. Just some small spelling mistakes and some questions that were the same but worded differently. Overall I loved this game a lot. It is one of the most enjoyable quiz games on steam I have played so far. I didn't even mind the extra Indonesian knowledge quiz cause the charachter was so friendly and funny and it was interesting. ps: all achievements work
Lots of quirky charm and personality. Even though some of the questions are too easy and some are too hard, overall there's a good mix of topics and most of the questions are reasonable. Taken -just- as a quiz game it will probably disappoint given the price, but if you can appreciate the humour and illustrations it's well worth it.
I've tried the itch.io version and i love it. Finally it is released on steam!
