Throws you to the whales The game in its current state does not do enough to welcome new players. I had to figure how to play by trial and error, dying over and over again. Perhaps this is intentional: it is just you and the whale, and the hunter quickly becomes the hunted. Eventually I found it was best to attack the whale a bit, recover harpoons, then retreat & repair ship damage. Pros: I like the way the ship controls, and how it drifts if you don't completely stop it. I like how aggressive & relentless the whales are when encountered. I think this game could be much more enjoyable with a few minor updates & tweaks. Suggestions: An icon to guide the player back to items lost on death An indicator for ship damage/flooding Better explanation that you have to descend into the ship hull to repair damage & remove water Desperation portion of whale hunt. If the ship is sinking, I would like to be able to fight a bit longer by climbing into the crow's nest or by floating on a plank. I haven't seen the bigger ships yet but if there was a lifeboat or raft that would be nice. I like the concept of this game, I just hope it gets a few quality of life updates to improve the experience, especially for new players.
It is good and difficult. 2 times I got off the boat without lowering the sails and it went away, and hunting whales without first buying harpoons didn't go very well either. U.U

bro this game ass
10/10 masterpiece a little something for everyone
pay .099, kill 3 whale, make 300,000, retire
pretty fun. played with my friends. its fun but after killing the second whale you'll have all the upgrades and the only ship. I hope they add more of both in the future but as it is I believe the game is more than worth 1 dollar. if you have some friends I say try it out.
Hey Guys. This game is absolutly fascinating...if you can end the tutorial, btw. this is not so easy as it looks like. Me and my friend died nearly a hundred times, before we even saw a whale. And when you enter a fight with one ... i hope you have a good graphiccard - maybe something of the newest Nvidia, and better in SLI but even then i think you cant reach the 10 Fps. But nevertheless, i laughed a lot ... and thats why u buy a game for <1 Dollar :)

Some golden nuggets, and some smelly turds, but always a good time: Gameplay/Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMwlDck8p2k Fun game definitely worth 99 cents. Not really for solo play though. Need to play with friends or the 2 harder whales are going to wreck you.
"According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible." - The Narrator of the greatest movie ever the Bee Movie This quote really captures the feeling when playing this game, it shouldn't be good but it doesn't care what the perception of the generic 99 cent pay to play cash grab is. The graphics give you a real feel of playing on the GameCube with the boys back in 03' that feeling of nostalgia caused me to become overcome with joy and takes me back to a better time. The interactions and menus feel smooth and flowing and are far better than I would expect. The physics and controls are where it really blows me away it really stands apart from being a pixelated GameCube style game and has actual physics and lots of freedom in the controls. The weapons are a little weird to get used to with the mouse aiming but other than this it is a masterpiece worthy of being displayed in a museum right next to the Bee Movie.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Tommy the whale crossover.
