Werewolves 3: Evolution's End

Finally! It was a long time coming but continuing my werewolf story was worth the wait and it's just as good as the first 2. Dena still gives me the warm and fuzzies just like always and it's good to see where the relationship goes. I haven't played the other relationships, but Dena is sweet and the spicy scenes were really, really spicy. I like that they added the option to roll back at the end of chapters so you can rewind and not lose time due to a mistake like the older choice games. Beating the game gives a code for a character builder that makes it easy to try other paths. It's worth playing over again at least once to see all the other scenes. Plenty of action, romance, and choices as expected with this series. Hope they make book 4 sooner than later.

10/10 masterpiece. I don't even like books or reading in general. I usually prefer to play rpg video games and watch Netflix and YouTube. But I chose to not watch any shows or play any video games and instead just read this book. For like a week straight. I was completely enraptured by the story, world building, lore, mature writing style, immersive figurative language that made me feel like I was watching a gripping and compelling movie in my mind, characters, choices and the consequences for those choices. Also, I know it's a choose your own adventure choice driven video game. To me its a book. Back in 2019 and 2020, I also bought and read the 1st and 2nd books which were also amazing. This 3rd book I waited 4 years for. And I was not disappointed. Now I must play though every permutation of this book so I can see all the different amazing stories that have been written here. Thank you for making and sharing this story with me Jeff. I'll patiently wait for the 4th book because I am highly interested in the whole werewolf struggle against greater society premise that has been set up. That ending really gave me Dune Part 2 ending vibes. Meaning, the storyline gave a satisfying conclusion for events set up in previous entries and now a new story with even grander and more exciting stakes has been teased at the very end. Very well done. I hope the author decides to try and adapt these books into movies because I'd love to pay to watch those and I bet they would make a ton of money too. They would be leaps and bounds better than the safe, sanitized, forgettable slop that insults the audience's intelligence that is being served to people's eyeballs these days.

Definitely the weakest of the series so far. The story felt like it had less stakes and I lost interest in it part way through and kept trying to finish it since I did the first two but ultimately gave up. Just waffled on with random stuff that didn't really address the major challenges for the MC. In the end this was enough for me to stop.

Winter got me acting weird. (Please consider developing this relationship, it was most interesting to me) I loved it, i'm waiting for book 4.

Very good. A bit predictible at times and a bit of "Hero" syndrom with the protagonist which doesn't feel natural. I'm also not fond of the two fights you can't win (scripted to lose, to advance the story plot), they feel a bit lazy. Haven rising was more polished on that point.

First off, please ignore my playtime, I did my actual playthrough on my phone. I'd ignored this series through the first two games because I'm not a big fan of werewolf stories, but when this most recent one released I realized that they were by the same author as Parliament of Knives and I'd loved that game enough that it immediately flipped the series around to being a must-buy for me, and I mainlined them all back-to-back. Dean's work lived up to my hopes, the series was just as dark and gripping as I expected his work to be. I highly recommend just going in as unspoiled as you can and deciding the werewolf you want to be as you go; he's one of those choicescript writers who are good at making the game feel reactive to how you choose to play. I'm definitely one of the people looking forward to 4 now, but thankfully we get a satisfying enough ending for now that I'm not going to be going completely nuts with the waiting!

Jeffrey Dean's first Werewolves novel helped me discover the love for interactive novels and opened up another world that I'm able to explore. It is a world where you care about the characters you interact with, whether it's a romance with Bly, saving a friend from some bad choices, or just a right choice at the moment, but at what cost? The choice is yours to make, and how far would you go to have some spicy fun with your RO and to save possibly save everyone, but how will you do it? P.S. I heard you need some more reviews for your books and I will give you just that because it is the very least I can do for the enjoyment you have helped give me and for more romance with Bly & Tiva!

Been waiting for this one for a long time. Given the way my story ended in Werewolves 2, I really wanted to see how it all ended up. Jeffrey's writing is amazing as always.
