WellTown ein Touristen bzw- Sightseeing-Programm von Wrestler, die auch schon Virtual Cop verbrochen haben. Nachdem ich das Programm drei mal neu starten musste, um endlich in den Genuss von Ton und absturzfreier Erfahrung zu gelangen, muss ich sagen es ist das gewöhnungsbedürftigste Touriprogramm, dass ich bisher getestet habe. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2667481036 Bevor wir uns 7 ausgewählte Plätze in Wellington ansehen können, erleben wir die wohl durchgeknallteste Präsentation einer Stadt die es in VR gibt. Ein bunter Vogel mit hartem Neuseeländischem Akzent hüpft, tanzt und fliegt um uns herum und erzählt etwas zu den 6 auswählbaren Erfahrungen. Nach jedem dieser im Grunde kurzen Minispielchen erhalten wir eine Kostüm-Trophäe, die wir an unser virtuelles Ich klatschen können. Am Ende sehen wir dann ähnlich bunt aus wie unser Moderator. Die Aktionen in den kurzen Erlebnissen reichen von sehr schlechtem Zwillenschiessen über einer beatlosen Beatsabervariante bis zum unmöglichem Angeln. Die beste Erfahrung war dabei ein Trip unter Wasser. Hier konnten wir einen riesigen Walfisch beobachten. Haben wir die 6 unterschiedlichen Orte besucht, bleibt noch die Möglichkeit einmal über Wellington in luftiger Höhe schlecht herüber zu teleportieren. Oder 7 weitere Orte zu besuchen. Wobei nur zwei oder drei sehenswert sind. Einmal gibt es einen Stadiobesuch, wo wir die Nationalhymne hören können, ein Museum, indem wir etwas über die Geschichte Neu Seelands erfahren und für Filmfans einen Besuch in einem Museum mit Filmrequisiten. Ein Reiseersatz wegen der aktuellen Pandemielage ist es auf gar keinen Fall. Als Minispielsammlung ist es auch nicht wirklich zu gebrauchen. After having to restart the program three times to finally enjoy the sound and crash-free experience, I have to say it's the most accustomed tour program I've tested so far. Before we get to see 7 selected places in Wellington, we experience what has to be the most loopy presentation of a city that exists in VR. A colorful bird with a hard New Zealand accent bounces, dances and flies around us and tells something about the 6 selectable experiences. After each of these basically short mini-games, we get a costume trophy that we can slap on our virtual selves, ending up looking similarly colorful to our host. The actions in the short experiences range from very bad twin shooting to a beatless beatsaber variant to impossible fishing. The best experience was a trip under water. Here we could watch a huge whale. If we have visited the 6 different places, there is still the possibility to teleport once over Wellington in airy height badly. Or to visit 7 further places. Whereby only two or three are worth seeing. Once there is a stadium visit, where we can listen to the national anthem, a museum, where we learn something about the history of New Zealand and for movie fans a visit to a museum with movie props. The rest are commercials from universities and colleges or super hip startups. These places are presented in mostly somewhat grainy 360° videos. All in all, WellTown is quite nice to look at if you're planning to go there and want to get a little information, emphasis on little. It is by no means a substitute for a trip due to the current pandemic situation. As a mini-game collection it is also not really useful. Good concept.. need more site and better graphic and to be open world to be worth the download size oh and they absolutely need to get rid of the annoying guy guiding you

not worth the download time . poorly put together gay rubbish .

This is a 2 part experience game. The first part is the most creepy, obnoxious, annoying, thing I've ever seen or experienced in VR... And I've played the horror genre titles... If that is New Zealand RUN-- the F*CK-- AWAY. The second part (clicking on the tea cup) is more normal touristy stuff (aside from the sponsored ones where they stare awkwardly at you until you make choices)... The "fly around New Zealand" is a total sham. You'd have a better VR tourist experience just using google earth with your goggles. TLDR; CREEPY AF
