Game of the year. Very very epic. Yunha is the top/first pick, Saeun is the second pick, make sure Jihye goes last (gives the best sense of completion). Although not realistic in some areas, it still delivers the great feeling when you help others, solving issues. While there are not a lot of options, only having the branching part letting you choose any path (only three endings with three girls), it is still completely worth the 250-ish TWD (around 8.33 USD). Made me crying during Yunha ending song, :'D. For the actual content, its a steal considering its price, extremely great visuals, and illustrations. Voicelines, and animations for each ending, plus voices for the ending songs! Although you don't exactly get to see much after you start dating. Push for 3000 sales for secret plus story!!!
即使没有简中,英文也挺好啃的。短小精悍的故事,完全物有所值。
WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD A VN with great art, music, story and voice acting. Even though I really enjoyed my time with this VN, there are still some things worth noting down. First of all are some minor issues like typos, or for example putting <character name> instead of the chosen name. These things are very easy to ignore though and it doesnt ruin playability, My 4 main complaints about this VN are the progression, structure, understanding of love interest and JiHiye's route. Structure: At the start, in the common route, the timing gets all confusing and you can easily get confused on the timeline of events. I think there is no point in providing the user a choice in common routes as it just simply confuses them. it should have been one clear story at the start and then keep the choice split as is. Also, with Saeun its implied some stuff happened between them in the hotel, yet theyre still nervous to talk about their feelings the next day and have not made it clear that they like each other. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Like confess first then do said stuff? Progression: I feel like the choice route came in a tad bit too early. When I was asked to make my choice I simply felt like I haven't gotten close enough with any of the girls yet to make a choice. Yunha, for example, while attractive, simply felt like a friendship choice. Just having a similar hobby doesnt automatically make you a romantic interest. Jihye felt like a good romantic choice since she always felt very welcoming, friendly and supportive but then again, we don't know if that's simply just how she acts to people around her. Lastly, saeun. Although very fun to spend time with her, you also don't know much about her before being forced to make a choice. If we had simply taken some of the choice scenes and put them in a common route, it wouldve helped to get a better understanding. Jihiyes route. As much as i liked the idea behind her story, I dont think it fits the light-heartedness of the VN. Not only that, she had years of conviction, years of thinking regarding her issue, yet all was able to be shattered in a single night? Shouldn't that night have been the first crack instead? Also shouldn;t Jihiye have responded with : Youre right, and because you also want to become my family, someone important to you, I dont want to lose you as well. Instead we get a complete 180. Also why would Jihye accept the MC's word and proposal without proper rationale when we know Jihye is already a very perceptive girl. They haven't even tried dating... I understand the premise was that by "proposing" to her she would finally become someone's first family, first choice, but the execution was poor. Last is the understanding of love interest. What I mean by that is we, as the player, don't get enough context why the girls would even be interest in the mc until way later down the line of the choice routes. We were not given an incentive of romance before making a choice. My main complain was basically the game asks you to choose who you're romantically interested in before it has properly established either the MC's feelings for them or their feelings for the MC. Despite all that, I still enjoyed the game especially for the asking price even though this was my first korean VN. <3
