This is an indie horror from the first person, in which you find yourself in an area called Kowloon in search of cheap housing. The inhabitants of this place only at first glance seem to be ordinary people, but if we dig deeper, we will see their real faces.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.29/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of my new favorite horror walking sims. I bought this because I first read about the history of Kowloon Walled City around 10 years ago and saw the excellent photographs by Greg Girard. Ever since, it's stuck in my mind as a fascinating/horrifying nugget of human existence that looks more like a slice out of some cyberpunk dystopia than anything real. But it WAS real. This game captures the essence of all of the media that exists of the now-demolished city and is gorgeous to look at. It uses the new "bodycam" style of graphics people are going for lately with a fish-eye lens and a cursor that doesn't quite move the camera on a 1:1 basis, meaning you can move a flashlight around without turning the camera. It's tough to explain if you haven't played something using it but I really dig it, it brings a level of immersion to things that's hard to describe. Anyway, it's a short creepy walking sim with plenty of jump scares and an amazing atmosphere. You will absolutely know if you want to play this just by looking at the videos, but if you're at all interested in Kowloon Walled City I would almost call it a must-play. Look out Mr. Pumpkin 2, this is the new best game set in Kowloon Walled City. (Oh yeah, if you want more Kowloon Walled action, check out Mr. Pumpkin 2 on Steam).

Everything good about this game can be experienced by looking at the screenshots: the lighting looks nice and there is quite a lot of detail to the environments. But even the environments are not that impressive when you take a good look at them, because the Kowloon setting is just a gimmick to make you think the game will be more interesting than it really is. The detailing fails to give the impression that you're in China, or anywhere in East Asia -- for example: all the graffiti, and almost all of the other text, is in English or Russian. In this game, Kowloon is basically a khrushchevka where every resident inexplicably has 50 bottles of soy sauce that are labeled "Soy Sauce" in English. Though sometimes the labels are backwards, because the developer wasn't paying attention when placing things. I can accept that this is a throwaway jump-scare horror game, but it would have been nice to see just one original or interesting or well-executed idea in the entire game, you know?

IS THIS ON PURPOSE OR REFERENCED??? twas fun to play regardless but holy hell if apartments are actually that small im thankful
Awesome game, beautiful graphics, just lacked on the story and scare factors.
