The plot and the town are interesting, but the romance is rather superficial in this novel, without a gradual build-up, deep feelings and real conversations. It's chiefly about easy sex. Feels casual and boring. And the ubiquitous foot fetishism is extremely irritating. Like, what the hell?
This game is weird. However, if you actually stop and think about it, most AVNs are weird. Let's get into it. Character Models. This story takes place over the course of 6 chapters so the quality of the character models will obviously change over the course or your playthrough and while most of the models improve, a couple do end up looking a little worse for ware for some reason. There are 7 main female romance options available as well as a few one night stand characters to explore. Body types are somewhat varied, but all feel built from the same frame. All the girls are slim, some have bigger breasts or butts, some are taller, some are muscular but don't look for really thick girls if that's your thing. Skin tone and color are also varied. I'm honestly (pleasantly) surprised how many dark skinned characters there are in this game. Skin tone also gets more detailed as the story progresses. In the first chapter, skin is relatively smooth and almost plastic looking, but the farther you go the more detail appears like freckles, pores, veins, stretchmarks, blush, and beauty marks. Hair is given a bit of love. Most of it is still static, but a few of the animated scenes give the hair some light movements. As for the MC, well after my last 2 experiences with the skinny troll and not-15 year old wannabe K-pop star, having an actual "good looking" adult with a decent build and good hair was a treat. Lewd/Love Scenes. FEET. Let's just get this out of the way. THIS IS A GAME FOR FOOT FETISHISTS. I though Milfy City was heavy on the feet stuff, but it has nothing on this game. Hell, there is literally a game mechanic based on choosing feet for a fetish. That out of the way, yes there are other positions and scenarios to explore. Missionary, doggy, anal, oral, public, 3-ways, showers and so on. One thing I will give this game credit for is how dynamic it's lewd scenes are. While on the surface a lot of the scenes could be seen as glorified gifs, the thing that separates "Free Will" from other AVNs I've played is the use of angles. The camera moves around giving you unique looks at the action. This simple trick really makes the scenes come alive and feel more real than you would think. I also appreciate the amount of kissing in this game. For me personally, some well done Frenching adds some nice intimacy to frantic boots knocking On the downside there are a few glitches here and there, such as limbs in weird positions. All in all, this is some quality animated erotica. Story. *Possible Trigger Warning/Spoiler Warning* Homosexuality plays a surprising plot point in this game. The town is essentially a big homophobic hotspot, Additionally, one of the love interests is touted as a lesbian you "turn" with your amazing sexual prowess. Everything is consensual, but if you have strong opinions on LGBTQ representation, this might be a red flag for you. If you've ever watched "Twin Peaks," "Stranger Things," "Gravity Falls" or "Eerie Indiana" you might get an idea of this story's weirdness. The MC and his brother head to the small town of Free Will to find their missing mother and stumble into conspiracies and weirdness galore. Along the way, you run into a variety of ladies, new and old flames who need love and protection in this messed up town. The story is, as I've said, on the weird side. It doesn't help that the translation is a little off. For the most part it reads fine, but every once in a while it falls into overly proper robotic English that can break the mood of a scene. I also noticed a few spelling mistakes and at least once, a character was called by the wrong name. The 1st 4 chapters make up the heart of the story, with the last 2 more like extended epilogues. While there is a definitive ending, it's up to you if it feels satisfactory. Me personally, I felt like there were still a few unanswered questions that didn't get proper closure. Gameplay. This is a big project. With 6 chapters and so many characters and choices there is a lot of potential for replays. I used a guide, 2 actually, so if you want to go that route, you could finish sooner, but purists who like to fully explore and discover a game all their own, it could eat up your time. Aside from exploring the story and trying the different character paths, there are collectables to gather and some fairly long mini games splintered throughout. As always, saving constantly is your friend . Aside from clicking arrows to explore areas, it's a straightforward narrative. Presentation. The world itself is nothing new. The local is a small town with a secondary big city setting and a wooded area serving as the only other local. They aren't anything you haven't seen in any other game, but they are well rendered Another welcome surprise is the soundtrack. If your like me, you tend to mute the game's generic soundtrack in favor of your own BGM. While I still did that eventually, I was actually impressed with how much music is actually available and there is even a playlist to listen to in the bonus area. They won't break the top 40 anytime soon, but the effort is very appreciated. The biggest thumbs up from me, though, goes to something so simple I slap myself for not realizing it's genius sooner. The dialogue box is nothing special, EXCEPT for the fact that the programmers added a black outline to the white words. This simple addition made the text soooo much easier to see, I don't understand why this isn't an industry norm. It blew my mind just how much easier it was to read this text as opposed to so many other games, with just plain white text. Your standard gallery to replay scenes and see original pics are included as well. Final Thoughts. I didn't think I would enjoy Free Will as much as I did. Yes the story takes some weird turns and the focus on feet is a little off putting if that's not your kink, but other wise it's a sexy, well designed and very replayable experience. I appreciate the little touches like the dynamic camera angles during love scenes and the black outline of text that just gives the game a nice polish to balance some of the glitches. Easy recommendation and a must buy on sale. 8* out of 10*

I really liked the plot
A lot of feet, that means gold. I like Lily's model the most.
bonito
really good and decent soundtrack. the final episode is kinda dissapointing. the same on every girl that u chose. almost no diffierence
The complete version has decent depth. The story isn't the strongest but passable. I enjoyed the art and being having choice selections that change the experience. However the endgame is lackluster. Lacking the diversity of the early game, most choices outside of your chosen relationship are meaningless. The long drawn out non skippable cutscenes near the end were somewhat annoying because they don't really change between routes.
