About
Welcome to Elderfield is a cozy horror RPG where the abnormal is normal, the townsfolk are odd, the eldritch beings watch over you and the local news reports seem stranger by the day.

Everything in Elderfield is unsettling, from the haunting, horror manga-inspired, hand-drawn visuals to the dark, lofi soundscapes composed by Dated. Despite the strange creatures lurking just outside your home, those who wander into Elderfield rarely find a reason… or option, to leave.

Customize your home and character, unravel daily mysteries, befriend the odd townsfolk (or even marry one!), go fishing, spend your afternoons mining and forage through the surrounding wilds… There's lots to do in Elderfield!

Cultivate your land, harvest your crops, and stop the growth of unruly tentacles. Manage a variety of strange, otherworldly livestock, grow useful crops like corn, pumpkins, teeth or eyeballs and hope that beings from the woods don’t wander onto your farm.

Choose your difficulty, how much suffering can you endure? For players seeking a peaceful life of harvest and discovery, cozy difficulty offers a more laid-back experience. For those who crave a challenge, the Old Gods are waiting.
Elderfield features a deep, turn-based combat system where you must utilize gathered resources, strategic buffs and diverse equipment to survive encounters with ancient, Lovecraftian horrors.
Die, learn, farm, and forage… Then die again.
Full RPG life sim with relationships, customization, fishing and more
Hand drawn horror manga inspired artwork
Dark lofi soundtrack by Dated
Build your farm, manage animals, mine and forage to build resources

None of the characters have voice lines, even if the trailer makes them out to. which I'm surprised by, considering the obvious effort the Chris Cote put into "weather radio". Can't help but hope some time is taken to record some more voice lines before the game is finished. There are some minor bugs, issues with digging and tree chopping, but so far, its got the makings of a great game. Exceptional atmosphere, great character design, consistent, dark, sullen, eerie, and vastly entertaining. I'm looking forward to playing this through. But for real, the Anchor lady AT LEAST needs some recorded dialogue.

to gostando muito e o jogo ainda tá em pt!
the game is filled with so many random mysteries, enemy encounters, old gods, lovecraftian horror and also farming. the hand drawn art is a treat especially for fans of junji ito. recommend for players who love stardew valley, with a love for all things eerie
Some parts suck, the collections are paintings and theyre spread across this gallery makes it a pain in the azzzz. But about 83% as fun as stardew.
i really enjoyed the demo and so far am enjoying the full release. there is an issue when i hit my mute keybinds for discord vc (ctrl+pg down), and elderfield bugs out and i have to close out and restart my entire game because i can't close out the error it gives me.

I feel like I'm living in a world the Addams Family would thrive in... AND I LOVE IT!
It's addictive but it can feel really spooky and harsh at times. My character literally died in their sleep on the 2nd day and when I reloaded to save scum it seems the rolls are set before as I got the exact same result. However dying didn't lose me anything except some gold. The game also really encourages you to use items, for example an easy shop to get dice rolls from is the sewer man and it really helps. The art and music are gorgeous and you get sucked into the Stardew Valley loop. I found it hard to increase the romanceable character's hearts as they kind of all live out of the way of the normal town for some reason. But thankfully later on there's a potion crafting area which lets you craft many things including stat increases and half-heart increase potions. So it seems to have a good balance of risk and rewards. There's also rings which give you immortality essentially letting you survive which is great since some mobs can hit really hard like for 50+ damage later on.
Very stardew and fear and hunger. A little jank on the controls and I highly recommend you play this on controller. But very good game, very well designed, scratches a lot of itches, and the art is AMAZING
