Weed Shop 4: Highland

Loved WS3. Continue to love WS3. Was so excited for this game but it's currently trash. Clunky and bare bones. Was gonna stick around to see if it got better but then they decided to update the game with AI images. Their excuse was we needed to be able to look at something on the loading screen. They seemed to do fine in WS3.... And honestly, I'd rather watch the logo spin than see AI. Sure, they give you a handy little button to turn it off but I prefer to put my money where my mouth is and not support AI users. Found out about it more than two weeks after launch, when I bought the game, so now I warn you. If you decide to put your money where your mouth is, don't buy this game. Support a dev that gets more creative than an AI loading image.

Really loved Weed shop 3, have high expectations on this, but its really bored, much worse than the weed shop 3

Weed Shop 4 by Weed Games is genuinely one of the worst games you can find on Steam. The load times give the 7th console generation edition of GTA V a run for its money. After you sit and admire the impressively low-resolution loading screen for a few minutes, you load in to a completely broken mess of a game world. The first time I started the game, I was floating in the air above a seabed unable to move as the world refused to finish loading. The second time, I spawned on a boat with a lady who was missing much of her hair as the water tried very hard to load in, but never succeeded. I don't need to tell you how lame the developers of this game are. They did it themselves when they called themselves Weed Games. What is even more pathetic is their attempt to act holier-than-thou for... using AI. I'd almost be embarrassed for these clowns, but Weed Shop 4 is a truly abysmal experience and Weed Games deserves to fade away into obscurity. Turning your microscopic fanbase against both your own team and each other was definitely a choice!

At this moment I cant give this game a thumbs up. It is in pretty rough shape and just playable. It is pretty badly optimized atm. The main reason for the thumbs down is the games setting and use of AI especially without saying so (they do now have a notice but they didnt originally) Why are we trying to make money from poor SE Asian islanders? yes there are "tourists" but this game just feels like its trying to copy Drug Dealer Simulator 2, which is a horrible game/setting on its own. The map is also bad, the beginner village is laid out in almost the most annoying way possible. And while the game can be played in any setting I suppose. This islander stuff just doesnt play out in a drug dealer game either illegal or as this game is, a legal setting. I am surprised the dev didnt add "free running". Each version of weed shop has gotten worse than the last. It has finally reached a point I cant tell anyone to play it. But if you like silly settings that dont really match what you are trying to do ( get rich ) then its probably gonna be alright for you. The devs still possess some of their humor and it still reflects in parts of the game. It's just gone in a direction I cant agree with and plays out more like a spin off of DDS2 than the 4th sequel in the weed shop franchise.

i wanna like it, played 3k of weed shop 3, so disappointing to even release this for $20. Feels like it lost its soul. game is completely changed, dev put too much work into the looks of the small island and water and no work in the tutorial or story. YOU COULDVE JUST MADE A NEW MAP WITH NEW MISSIONS AND STRAINS AND WE WOULDVE BEEN HAPPY!!! No mention of any old characters, no funny weed plot or relevant jokes like in 3 to keep the walking interesting plus the added AI art is just sad. Weed shop dies with 3 if the game stays like this.

Godawful presentation, controls, graphics, an attempt to shame one into appreciating AI through a snarky menu option, and overall just a waste of money.
